The Curvage stories forum is sorted by most recent. And I venture to say the most-recent page does not feature as high a % of great stories as it used to 5 years ago, though some ongoing ones are very good. But if you skim deeper, you’ll find authors whom you’ll like. I hesitate to suggest authors, but I really like Batman76 and can suggest others. (And there’s me!) And once you find an author you like you can search their topics, and they’re probably on Deviantart to make their stories more findable. I tend to write close 3rd person. I may write 1st person in future, but it’s a different beast.
