A combination of Sebastian’s medical knowledge and Alexandria’s white magic probably could but it’d go against Sebastian’s Hippofatimus oath. First lose no weight.
Meanwhile Dina-
Foodstains after a pretty messy meal 100%
Burps 100%
Toots 100%
Getting a bit lost in glutton post-fast 100%
Foodstains after a pretty messy meal 85%
Burps 50%
Toots 10%
Any chance that we can get a slob filter as well? At least for toots and whatnot.
Depending on the content for Steph (or anyone else) if it’s a bit too extreme I might allow options to get around it.
What would constitue as “a bit too extreme,”?
Things such as Sebastian’s flashback with Cynthia. If it comes to it, I might also put an option to not see certain content with Dina in her late slob. (Highly unlikely Steph will ever reach that level)
That said, I really try to avoid any kinds of “filters” whenever I can. Because often story and fetish are intertwined, and important details can get missed. If someone skips the Cynthia sections, then they lose out on some bits of lore, or aspects of her character, that become important later on.
Sebastian’s home: Yes, but not for a bit. At least not fully.
Abandoned Auburnwoods Home: Yeah probably. Though there isn’t really much going on in it.
The SECRET ROOM in the mayor’s house: I feel like this is something Lily would overly obsess over, larping an elaborate Ocean’s 11 style break in plan for, only to find it’s just a normal back room.
Gomorrah: For sure. Ed and Al are two minor characters I keep putting off, but need to give them their time to shine, at least for an update.
Lily’s side rooms: Honestly, this might be one where imagination is better than what I could actually show. There aren’t too many feeder/sex/dungeon tilesets available for RPGmaker, so it might end up looking a little sparse if I tried to make one worthy of Lily.
Fresha’s House: Yes almost certainly! But like the abandoned house, it’s not all that exciting.
It would be interesting if Sebastian, Clair, Alexandria, and Jean Luc met at his old house by pure freak accident. Also still hoping for Lily’s side rooms and Gomorrah stuff.
Sounds like a funny senerio, that Lily might make a Dream Novel for.
Replayed Lily’s section and wanted to ask about the rooms.
Bath room -
Was this the room Lily took mauve too when he met Darya last update?
No surprise room -
Can’t imagine how big this room is, but I sure quite a few of Lily’s “collection” are well acquainted.
Wardrobe room -
After Lily’s last clothes montage it’d be fun to see another. Also could be an interesting opportunity to show off her former characters, as of 0.11 we’ve seen 1/2 : Luna , Lace and Lin.
Candy room -
The name of this room gives me Willy Wonkas chocolate factory vibes which got me thinking.
@WaxeRed out of all the apostles characters who would best suit the roles of the characters from book/movie ? e.g
Charlie -
Augustus -
Violet - ( pretty obvious )
Veruca -
Mike -
Wonka -
The comment about the Willy Wonka chocolate factory room makes me wish Gretel would go inside, assuming the unending table didn’t get her attention first, she would probably eat well there.
Hope theres another bet between lily and Gretel so she can get Gretel to do a candy land tour if she wins.
Sebastian could tag along as an oompahlumpa, afterall wouldn’t be the first time he’s had a colourful face.
Most likely!
It’s also possible Gretel has a bunch of magic locations floating around, kinda like forgotten folders on her hard drive. It wouldn’t surprise me if Lily has gone through and hijacked a few.
We will definitely see another clothing change across the characters! I very much enjoy being able to change up their wardrobes and give them new looks for the season.
That said I’m not sure if I’ll do the next clothing change for Summer and Fall, or just for fall. For one, the outfit choices in rpgmaker are somewhat limited, and it is also somewhat of a technical nightmare to have all those face sets.
But regardless we will be seeing Lily changing clothes, and perhaps a few more of her previous incarnations in future updates!
What a fun question! Some people might have different picks, but I’d say
Charlie - Sophia, sweet and innocent if a little poor, she got her golden ticket when the Apostles came to town.
Augustus - Mauve? Honestly since I usually try to flesh out characters to be more than just fetish props, it’s hard to attribute one to Augustus who is just a mindless eater!
Violet - Dana (and ironically not Violet)
Veruca - Dina, a total spoilt brat. The only difference is her parent not being so accommodating to her behavior.
Mike - Took a bit to think, but probably Heather, at least at the start. Mean, and selfish. Clever but not quite so wise.
Wonka - Honestly I see all three Apostles as having a bit of Wonka in them! Lily got the whacky and craziness, Gretel obviously got the over the top food making, and compassionate side, while Sebastian got the secrecy and mystery.
Wowwww. This game is AMAZING.
I am a LONG time lurker on here and never comment on anything due to nerves and being shy tbh
And I’ve also avoided rpgmaker games as they usually arent my thing
But this? Wow chefs kiss. I love all the characters deeply. I love the story line. The detail is insanw.
AND THE CLIFF HANGER???
on a different note man can we get a mini game with mauve or something. that point system sounds like fun
A mauve mini game would be PEAK !
How about a mini-game where you have to make the right food choices for mauve so he can accumulate enough points before he gets to stuffed to continue, all for a prize of players choice. like a visit from Darya costing the most visit from Heather being slightly less and the Lily special costing the least.
Thank you so much! It really means a lot to hear that, and makes my day, so thank you so much.
As someone who has played 10 bad rpgmaker games for every good one, I know what you mean, and I’m glad Apostles was the exception! If you want another high quality rpg maker to try, I highly recommend Some Bullshit on this site, don’t let the name fool you, it’s one of the best! (And I’ll self plug my other two games, Greed’s End and Project Atlas!)
Glad you two like the idea of a Mauve focused mini game! It could be something I pursue in the future. Though I might make it a separate “game” outside the main story as I would worry a section dedicated to that much male gaining might be a turn off for most.
I had a similar idea for a Violet focused update, a sort of “soft” timeloop story as you have to repeatedly go up and up Gretel’s infinite staircase, fighting monsters, befriending some of said monsters, making choices, escaping trap rooms. I say soft timeloop as of course you aren’t really going back in time, but it’s more about starting over from scratch every time you ‘die’ waking back up in that first room with just the knowledge of what’s ahead.
That content for Violet obviously won’t happen any time soon, as her space now needs to be fully reworked to suit the sin Gretel is more in-line with now. [spoiler]
There were two main reasons for Violet to be on the staircase, and one of those was to act as a pure source of Wrath for Gretel to collect. Apostles don’t just grow powerful from their sins, they also need it to survive/not go mad with “hunger” for their sin.
Heather with her comfy luxury room and doting servant generates pure sloth for Sebastian, Mauve with his constant sexual sessions with Lily gives her lust, and Violet in her endless loop of violent monster fights was generating Wrath for Gretel. But now with Gretel having shaken most of her hold on Wrath, she needs a new set of rooms for Violet soon!
This might be a dumb question, but what does the schedule look like till we get a playable update on Apostles?
Not for a bit. Work has been on Atlas for a bit, but that’s wrapping up. Once Atlas is done, I’ll swap back to Apostles and get hard to work. I want to get Apostles out by the end of the year, but I also want to make a pretty darn big update covering all the characters I can, since everyone has waited so patiently.
Okay, at lest knowing that much, some can either replay the game or jump onto Altas and see the new stuff.
