I have a problem in the main quest. I do not know what to do. This character just jumps on the spot and nothing happens. I’ve tried everything I can, but nothing happens. I’m stuck. Can someone explain to me what I’m doing wrong?
Its Westhaven quest.

A new update for one of my favourite games. This will definetly cheer me up.
As always, I’m eager to see what’s new.
Interact with the hay next to him
Okay, the Lanmar Ridge quest is pretty great. Mako is such a fun character; an absolute goober! The boss of the Lanmar Caves was definitely…out there, but she was also pretty memorable for what little screen time she got.
So, in my previous two playthroughs, I’ve had Claire date Abby pretty much as soon as the option becomes available. But, in the interest of mixing things up slightly, I’m going to have Claire date Arci this time…which will also let me date Abby anyway, but it’ll at least be a different spin on things.
(Though, it does mean I’m going to have to get past several dungeons to get to that point. Oh well…c’est la vie.)
Hi All! Please note that (if you haven’t experienced this already) there’s currently a bug with the combat system that can cause a crash-to-desktop when a fight starts. Oddly, this bug does not happen reliably, meaning that a fight that crashes the game once will rarely crash it the next time. This unfortunately is making the bug difficult to track and understand, so I’d ask two things of you all while you’re playing:
- Save often. That’s the important thing. Especially in areas with a lot of random encounters.
- If you encounter any crashes like this, report them here or in the bug-reports channel on the Discord. When reporting a crash, include as many details as you can remember, such as:
- What enemy or enemies you were facing
- What map you were on
- Time put into the current playthrough
- Whether it’s an old (prior to current update) save file or a brand new one
- What you were doing directly before the fight happened
- If possible, roughly how many fights you went through between loading up the game and experiencing the crash.
- Anything else you think might be relevant.
If it helps, this crash is almost certainly tied to the Yanfly_Battle script (the one that changes the UI in battle), and it’s possibly due to a conflict between that and another script. I believe I attempted to add Yanfly_Battle in a previous update but experienced a very similar bug to this, and at that point I concluded that it wasn’t worth the headache to keep the script in the game. But since a better battle UI has been something people have been asking for, and I really enjoy how the new UI works (crashes aside), I’m going to put up more of a fight this time in working to get to the root of the issue so the script can stay in the game, if at all possible. By tracking where, when, and how often the crash occurs, I’m hoping to get enough information to start taking more educated guesses at where the conflict is, and/or if the bug can be avoided through changing something unrelated to the scripts themselves.
Thanks for your patience with this! My goal is to put out a bugfix patch that attempts to address the issue within a week or two, depending on how much information I can gather between now and then. In the meantime, save often, and let me know if you experience the bug (or alternatively, if you’ve gone through an entire playthrough and haven’t experienced it, as that’s also helpful info.) Cheers!
I had those kind of bugs in Old Nyaren jungle when facing event glutton or random encounters with velocidons. It was around 13 hours of game.
Small Edit: Also I not received necroblade for skull quest once - I am not sure why - it worked after reload and doing it again.
Also encountered problem - can’t move on Sang ladder even though it is shown.
Alright, so I do have a couple of bugs to report as I’ve been progressing through the game
-As someone had mentioned in a previous post, the ladder to reach Sang’s cave near Westhaven seems uninteractable…which also denies access to one of the Fae Aspects needed to unlock Max Devour.
(I had two other points, but it turns out I just wasn’t being very observant and solved those on my own. Oops. XD)
Other than those, I haven’t had any issues with the game crashing during battle so far, so that’s something. I also feel like I’m a little more challenged in this run since, by this point, I was dating Abby and had unlocked her Mechanist+ skill. But since I’m waiting to date Arci, which will then allow me to date Abby, I’m going to be short one source of major Holy element damage sans Evelyn, which…makes me a little worried for going through Rotwald, but we’ll see how it goes.
Okay, so I found an unusual bug. During the 3rd Iron Gut contest, if Vespa reaches the trigger for gaining weight as the scene tries to transition back to normal gameplay, you’ll be stuck on a black screen, unable to move. You can use the Training Sim from the menu to get OUT of the black screen, but you’ll still be stuck at the table as if the contest were still going. The only way I could bypass the softlock was to already be at the higher weight tier before entering the contest. It’s such a bizarre and specific set of circumstances for the softlock to even happen, so I’m not too shocked it wasn’t caught (Plus, I had saved literally right before I entered the contest), but I at least wanted to document what happened.
I haven’t played that much yet the new update, but I wanted to say that it is great the new additions and changes so far the I’ve seen ,such as the new portrait design for Lani and that the portraits of the characters are now visible during combat and changes depending on their status (kinda wanted to add something like that for my game). I’ll try to take notes on whatvere I may find related to bugs.
very little kink value and huge amount of disrespect of your time. This is what this game is about, It is a good game just not something I’d recommend for anyone enjoying this kink who also respects their time.
Playtime: 24h
If you’re expecting to be bombarded by scene after scene of kink then this ain’t for you lil bro. This is old school quality autistic video game
Thanks for reporting that. I’ve gotten a couple other reports of it on the Discord, so it’s at the top of the list of things to fix for next patch.
Thanks for reporting that. The curious glutton encounter in the dune forest seems to be a common place where the bug occurs. I’m actually currently testing a savefile where that crash is happening reliably.
Do you recall if you had Clark in the party when the crashes were happening? That seems to be the issue on the file I’m testing (removing him from the formation results in no more crashes), so I’d like to figure out if that’s true in all cases or if it’s just something related to the file I’m testing in particular.
Upon checking my save files I think so. In all before royal bridge Clark seemed to be in party.
dunno if this helps but i basically never use clark so he’s never in my formation but the bug will still occur, also dunno if it was stated but every time (or at least most of the time) i save before a random encounter the game will crash, it doesn’t happen when i go to a new area sometimes but its not a reliable workaround
In my current run I reached the bridge and I did found some bugs and oddities, so I want to report them. I’ll blur them as some things are spoilers for certain events.
- First of all, I didn’t had any crashes (luckily) until except the ghost ship part in Vespa’s sidequest, as I was in the part of escaping, the game crash mid battle againts rats. I did have Clark in my team alongside Abby, Arciella and Nell, but I don’t know if team composition mattered. This only happened once and often I was trying to escape all those fights and only one I couldn’t and the rats managed to inflict some status effects on the team, after that , the next rat encounter crashed the game.
- Others already noticed it, but the ladder to reach Sang’s cave cannot be interacted, meaning that Ashley’s sidequest can’t be done.
- In Lillith’ ship, if you interact with the lever from the right side (that triggers the dialogue of the weapon or item that is stored there), it will softlock the game as Claire needs to walk to the left and from that side she will get stucked on the wall .
- Using the sodas triggers a dialogue between Vexus and Vico all the time (at least, all the times that I had to use them).
- Amelia doesn’t have her portrait on her dialogue during the party where you play as Cross.
