I like how that person was kind enough to publish those mods for anyone who wants to use them, almost no one does that kind of thing.
By the way, there should be more fat louies mods for Power Bomberman, just saying.

Just to be clear, no one (and I mean NO ONE) touches Hanerooi.

One of our members has contributed greatly to our cause. He is working on a dungeon crawler that focuses on weight gain, and is currently working on the next update. This update promises to bring BEEG, playable Louies, and there are those not yet aware that would surely enjoy learning about this development.
Your goal: SPREAD THE WORD. Let people know that Louies are playable again, since their last playable appearance in Bomberman Fantasy Race in 2000 (EU version).

So, a couple things…
Louies and Tirras mostly got phased out when the Pommy/the Charabom were introduced. This was likely because they wanted more unique “Mon” type for the series. As Pommy first appearance had him evolve into multiple forms. The following other Charaboms didn’t evolve, but could be traded and battled with in all the games they appear in. (My favorite is P. Dragon)
Outside of the Louies that appeared in Super Bomberman 5, Pui and Rui aappeared in the Jetters anime with Rui being a major character. I’m pretty certain they’re kids like this version of Bomberman, but they’re probably the only instance of an animated Louie. So, their a good reference for what a Louie’s movement and overall mannerisms would look like.
Finally, Louie’s last appearance was actually in the the last mainline game so far, Super Bomberman R 2. It looks like it’s an updated version of the R online model. Unfortunately, I can’t find a proper rip or screenshot of the model. The best I could do was this image…
Personally, I wish someone would remake Fantasy Race. I’d try myself, but I got way too much on my plate right now.

I am aware that they are playable in Bomberman R 2. I probably should have rephrased it better; Bomberman Fantasy Race was the last time they had any significant spotlight by Hudson Soft/Konami, any other appearance afterward was minimal at best, with no significant gameplay around them outside of a second hit or super speed or kicking or what have you.
But that’s why we’re here: To change that and give them more time to shine! Louies and Tirras gotta make a comeback!
