give them sometime, creating a game is extremely difficult i understand you want to play the game and they had said the time frame they would like to have it out by. there is no need to get bent out of shape. something had probably come up where they don’t have time to give us an update post. stuff happens in life, all we can wish for is that Daxe is ok and well.

There is. Did you not read the OP? Read the OP before you read the rest of my post.
IIRC, there is no “current version” because all versions after the demo were behind a paywall, and the dev decided to not do any more releases until the final release, (you did not read the OP before the rest of my post) which has been in limbo ever since.

So am I, but all we can do is keep calm, trust them. And hope they will post someday. We can all keep this thread alive by talking about the game!
For example, I really love the aspect that its short and route based. You can mix and match and see what happens, thats what makes it so good to me.

I mean hes making this game as a project in his spare time, and I dont think hes even charging for it.
It also happens to be easily the best game (for me) on the website. So it will be a bonus for me if or when it ever gets updated.
I like that it respects your time, no repeated scenes of “going to work” or pointless rpg mechanics, yet it still has more replayability and impactful decisions regardless.
Great characters and a nice simple and fun premise.
In my opinion it strikes a great balance of what a fetish game should be.

To me it depends on what the game aims for. I don’t mind repeated “going to work” scenes if it serves the game. If they are going for a slice of life game where you have multiple storylines and routes, and have to manage your money, if not toooo grindy. I don’t mind. But in this game it wouldn’t serve anything, and I agree with what your saying overall. It respects your time, and its a fun premise

In my opinion, by far is one of my favorites games I had played from this platform. I think what I enjoy much is that every decision you make affects the whole storyline. There’s numerous routes that you can do. You can just start from the beginning and the game still feels fresh. If I only played the work in progress, I can’t image how the game will be when it releases. High praise for the developer.

I’ve only played the early demo - which was only OK. Good enough to have me interested but nothing amazing. Somewhat frustrating reading the praise its getting from the later demos that are no longer available.

it is quite frustrating that they don’t have more then just the first chapter available to play and don’t want us to share copies of the more recent versions of the game.
It’s been quite a long time since they took down they’re Patreon.
To me it doesn’t add up that they took down they’re Patreon just so they weren’t pressured with time constraints. They could’ve still left us the most recent update to enjoy.

I mean there’s basically two camps you fall in. Either you were able to play the game up to the point of the last update or you weren’t and are now unable to. It does definitely suck that the game isn’t currently available for download past the demo tho. Having played it several times myself I thoroughly enjoy it and find it to be one of the best games in the genre, but that’s not much of a comfort to those who don’t have access to the latest version. I will say that pretty much everyone who’s played it has said positive things so that counts for something. All we can do now is hope that we hear some news sooner rather than later.

I still have the latest build downloaded - if the radio silence continues past 6 months I’ll probably just share it for archival purposes.
