Thank you, I will try this
Hey everyone!
As 2026 begins, I am extremely grateful to each and every one of you for the enthusiasm shown for Delicious Travelings. I never could have imagined this!
Next year will bring even more magic and quality updates! I have so many plans for the game, and I hope you will continue to follow the adventures of Paul, Rea, Findis, and the other companions to come.
Stay tuned, I will be preparing a roadmap for 2026 in the coming days. Thank you for everything!
Hello everyone, I hope you are all well !
In a few weeks, it will soon be a year since I started working on Delicious Travelings. At first, it was just a prototype for fun, and I didn’t think my little visual novel would be so popular.
In 2026, Delicious Travelings will not be discontinued or shelved, quite the contrary.
Three major updates will be released to complete the introduction of the main characters and provide you with an acceptable version (currently, I think it’s borderline).
-
Update 0.4 - May: Introduction of two new characters, a new area, introduction and implementation of the first chapter (will be divided into several episodes), numerous new scenes (stuffing, combat, and romance). -
Update 0.5 - September: Improvement of the romance system between characters, personal stories to develop relationships, new romance/sex scenes, introduction of the “camp” which will be a hub for interacting with characters. -
Update 0.6 - December: Major graphical overhaul including character redesign (new poses, expressions), menu redesign, redesign of old backgrounds and addition of new varied backgrounds.
There’s a lot coming up for Delicious Travelings this year, and I hope you’re excited to see what I have in store for you.
Finally, I would like to thank all 62 contributors who have helped me financially with the development of the game.
Thank you to everyone who tested the game! I’m preparing an illustration to celebrate 100k views.
Have a nice day and see you soon.
So many good things coming this year. I can’t wait to see more and follow Rea’s adventures. The update I’m most looking forward to is the romance one, which I think will greatly improve the game. In addition to the story, it’s the relationships between the characters that are most important for getting attached.
I’m currently working on the storyboard of the next update 0.4, so please leave a comment telling me what you’d like to see in the next part of the story, and I’ll try to incorporate your ideas if they’re relevant.
What do you like about Delicious Travelings?
I’ll say it again, but if you leave feedback, suggestions, or anything else, it helps me enormously (my game is far from perfect). It’s essential for improving the game and making it better ![]()
So the best thing about the game are definitely your drawings. In my personal opinion, you don’t really need to redraw anything. They are better than the absolute majority of the games here. Reading that you treat assets of this quality as placeholders honestly makes me jealous (I struggle with drawings the most).
I’d just love to see more of the story. Especially since your dialogue reads well.
The weakest point of the game is probably it’s UI (I needed to reload the whole page to retry the feeding mini-game, for example). Nothing I couldn’t put up, but it could get annoying when the game grows. Personally, I’d be fine as long as everything I need to know about navigation is explained and it isn’t buggy.
Thank you very much, your message makes me very happy.
I would especially like to improve the quality of the backgrounds (I didn’t draw them, that’s why they’re beautiful), add new poses and expressions for the characters.
I have made an update to fix a bug in the mini-game.
With the next update, the story will start to develop slightly; we are only in the introductory chapters. I have so many ideas for the story of the world of Delicious Travelings that I should probably turn them into comics.
Thanks, I’ll take that into consideration for the 0.4 update ![]()
[New update 0.3.2] Delicious Travelings is now playable in Spanish.
