Dungeon of the Devourer - 0.8.0 2/24/2026

This is a really great game so far. I just wanted to point out some bugs I saw.

  1. After giving Karia’rashi the Endless Chocolate Eclair, her gurgle sound effects don’t wear off when you leave the room. The first time I just left the Seal and they went away, but the second time I had to teleport to a different location for the gurgles to disappear.
  2. When an immobile character is inflated, the text says “Xundefined can move again” (With the name of the party member in question replacing the X). I presume this happens whenever a character loses immobility in a battle.
  3. When drinking from the chocolate pipe in Gally Wallywix’s factory, if you get up to the option to drink forever and then decide to not drink forever, it makes you repeat that stage of the cutscene again. You can leave normally this time.
Also, I messed up and kept the Amulet of Berrying because I didn’t realise you needed it for the Queen Caroline belly fight and thought it would berry my party members. Is there any way I could give it back to her now that I’ve completed the quest and refused to give it to her? Overall I really like this game, and my only other comment is that I think the lategame is too easy; I haven’t had any trouble since Wallywix’s Candy Factory.
Edit: The first Mega Potato you find in a chest is spelled “Potatoe”. Also, Jill brings up your people even if you don’t mention them at all.
Edit: Some more bugs I found: The same text about three Elemental Lords being drawn into the Devourer’s lair shows up on two separate tablets, and doesn’t seem that accurate to the lore considering they worked to seal him away. On a related note, you can’t read the tablet next to the Seal of Flesh. In addition, the little guy still refers to the Paladin of the Devourer as male. The Gallys around the world will use the dialogue portrait of your Gally, even if it doesn’t match with their weight level. One other bug I’ve found is that for some reason on the vore route, starting with the Paladin of the Devourer fight, Brooks changed to a portrait with no weight gained in cutscenes, despite being immobile. This disappeared once I used Digest and had her gain weight again. It happened a second time; this might be connected to voring someone, since both times it’s only happened after that.
    Edit 2: Some more bugs:
  4. The Gally outside Viridian Castle has dialogue where Brookes asks after Gigi, even if you’ve eaten her on the vore route already. The narration and Krowley also act as if Jill is there with you, although I’m going to assume mentions of your party members on the vore route count as unfinished content rather than a bug from now on, since I presume there will be a lot more to report.
  5. You can walk through Thanna’s bed and the rails in Viridian Castle in the inflation trap maze, and the north table in the Chub Town inn after you eat the cheese from it. You can also walk on top of the empty space around the statue that teaches Aerate.
  6. Running into the giant mushroom to the left of the waterfall on the right in the town next to the Seal of Wind deals damage if you’re inflated in the water.
  7. Queen Zugtoya’s second journal entry repeats the line “His size and influence has grown in such short seasons. What started as skirmishes, expanded into all out war.” twice. There should also probably be a hyphen between all and out.
  8. On the vore route, Brookes cannot inhale the flame behind the waterfall in the Queen’s Gardens. You can’t enter the final room, unless you go to the room to the north of the kitchen and then to the room to the west, when the Seal of Wind suddenly opens, even if you snuffed out the flame in that room beforehand.
  9. Lexi is still referred to as being red if Brookes devours her on the vore route.
  10. The “New Art Gallery image unlocked!” message when Brookes eats the Thick Meat shows up on later playthroughs even after it’s already been unlocked. This may apply to other Art Gallery images.
  11. In the Chub Town inn, there’s no gap in collision between the top and bottom beds throughout the inn, so you can’t walk through them.
  12. The book in Wallywix’s Candy Factory on being covered in chocolate has its sprite change into scrolls while it’s being read.
  13. If you enter the tube in Wallywix’s Candy Factory while immobilised, the game describes Brookes as giving up after she puts her head in, but then plays the cutscene where she’s trapped in the tube, at least on the vore route.
  14. Karia’rashi’s rematch is bugged if she’s fed or blueberried beforehand. She still has her cutscene where she eats to grow larger, but since she’s already larger, she becomes smaller. The cutscene should probably just be removed and she should be given other buffs in rematches where she’s fed.
  15. The Jelly Girl’s house in Lady Lake has an object with an orb on top of it on the left wall that you can clip through.

That’s a lot of bugs to catch up on. Thanks for the report

You’re welcome; I honestly feel kind of bad about reporting all of those because of how much effort it’ll take to fix them. I actually have two more, though: It’s impossible to move in any direction except the one you’re being pushed in on conveyor belts and rapids, which I would assume is intended, if it wasn’t for the fact that this seemingly makes it impossible to get certain chests in these areas. Am I missing something? The other bug is that the locked door at the entrance says “It’s locked from the other side.” from both sides, and its sprite briefly disappears if you try to unlock it from the side with Gally. It should probably just be “It’s locked.”, since it’s locked with a lever. Anyway, great game.
Edit: This should be my final bug report. If you leave Experimentation Room 1 in the Berry Lab as soon as the dialogue with Gally is over, you can leave while the screen is fading to black, which prevents you from moving, softlocking you and forcing you to restart from an earlier save.

You can actually bounce or jump off the conveyor belts to get those items

Looking from this doc of this game’s walkthrough I’m kinda confuse where the seal of flesh of its location so I can unlock the belly slam

Belly slam is located in the seal of flesh, which the entrance is in the large space you enter right after the tutorial (the room with Gally, the tent, and the room in which you use butt slam for the first time.

find Gally and the teleportation crystal, and the entrance is to the north of them. You have to enter the central chamber before it unlocks however.

Belly slam is on the second floor, past the potato in the seal of flesh dungeon area.

Between the shork and now Arana… could we possibly get… a vore route party soon?

You can get a vore route party with Isabella and Nessie

I’ve noticed a few things, not sure if all of them are bugs or not:

  • Ran into a Puffshroom in the room where you eat a potato to progress, not sure if that was a intended encounter or not, but it felt weird running into an inflation-based enemy in the dungeon area
  • Suddenly the Slime-filled appearance happened during a cutscene (right after the potato). It is not just a visual bug, as checking right after the cutscene ended, Brook is Slime-filled instead of Immobilized.
  • There’s a bit of clippage that can occur in the Dragon Temple in the room with the maze. I was able to walk through the fence
  • Not sure if it’s in a different location, but from what I recall when you devour Nessie you get the key to the creepy home, however if you instead recruit her during the vore run, no key. Adendum: After checking the walkthrough, I had misremembered, but still there was no debris to loot and get the key.
  • Also not sure if this is intended or not, but when talking to CEO Gally, you’re able to accept a deal and not do the fight during the vore route, but the blueberry lab will still be locked down unless you actually fight her.

Really looking forward to more, especially more from Nessie (I’ve been waiting for the shark to be recruitable for a while). Also I suppose one more non-bug:

  • Are we going to get more voice lines for the characters? I get not having reactions from Isabelle for most interactions as we only unlock her after completing the other seals, but for example getting stuck in the vent in the candy factory only Gally03, Gigi, and Jill have certain reactions to it from what I remember, but you’re able to have Lexi, Poly, Lucill’ianna, (and now Nessie) (also technically you could get Isabelle as the candy factory is very only needed during the forge on the vore route)

Thanks for the report :0 Got most of these fixed now and will put out a patch soon

The factory is needed on the normal route aswell, since you need the endless cream eclair Kali, so you cant really get Lexi or Isabella involved

All the quests to get the legendary meals for Kali are rather separate of the quest line of the area they’re apart of. You can completely ignore the candy factory until you got to open the Furnace area in the vore route or until you need to open the seals, meaning in one instance, you can have anyone in the party, and the other’s only limit being Isabella, as she’s after the second.

I will admit to not having a completely normal run in this version, but last I can remember, Lexi is recuitable at least after the seal of wind if not earlier.

I was somewhat surprised to find that Isabelle has dialog for eating the elemental lords, which you can see if you swap to the vore route after getting her in the party (perhaps the intended path, she’s kind of a bad influence lol). Currently you can’t pursue the Berry Queen stuff if you are on the vore route since you can’t berry Sporella (you fight her before the seal dungeon so can’t get the pie) or Coraline (she won’t speak with you so you can’t offer her the amulet even if you somehow got it). I decided to try completing all that stuff for the liquid metal blade before switching routes and figured I’d look for some Isabelle interactions too. You can also have the amusing experience of getting stuck in the candy factory pipe with her in the party, only for her to show up on the other side for her little scene there.

I thought of almost everything  need to go back at fix that interaction in the pipe.

For what it’s worth I had fun imagining they both just wordlessly agreed to rp that whole scene out.
