Earthquake Warriors RPG (UPDATED 1.52 BUG FIX!)

I hurt my spine recently, so my progress has been slow, but I hope to finish the game sometimw this month. I keep pulling the game back because thibgs take longer than I expect, so maybe I should stop making release estimates.

–EARTHQUAKE WARRIORS 1.5 IS FINALLY RELEASED!!!–

-Now, play through the conclusion of Earthquake Warriors RPG’s first expansion, the Belly Temple, separated into five elemental-themed halls.

-Take on Azrael’s forces including his 15 faithfuls in order to end an ongoing war.

-Defeat The Belly to secure a powerful wish.

-Beating the Belly unlocks aroom where you can refight old bosses, fight in an arena against Azrael’s forces and a secret entrance to my cave where you can learn more about me and the game.

Plus, I’ve fixed a few bugs and added some QOL improvements based on player feedback. I’m not going to promise I fixed everything, but Greencario’s arenas are fixed, as was a glitch that looped Rapid’s “Bertha, I’m right here, Silly” line if you try to summon him twice. However, there’s a few things in Belly Temple I couldn’t figure out. In the Temple of Fire, you’re supposed to dodge flames, yet some flames will lock you in place till death, and I’ve no idea how to fix this, so be sure to dodge every flames till I figure out the problem. Also, some bridges in the Temple of Metal do not display properly. They still work, but I looked through their codes and couldn’t nail the problem yet.

Also, I want some feedback on the final arena. I should probably work on making it so it is beatable for everyone, but this was hard to program in general. I might even go back and redo it in the future. But, for now, I did want to show it off.

I’m going to take a break from working on this game outside of bug fixes, but I plan on returning to this game one day with more content. I know it’s not the best game ever or any sort of masterpiece, but I hope people can enjoy it nonetheless.

One last thing. I’m… kinda worried about what people are going to think about The Belly. I tend to like fatfurs that are a little ugly, and I’m worried some might find him overkill. If you face him, let me know your thoughts.

Finally, this game is not reccomended for those under the age of 18. Please do not play if you are a minor.

Edit: if that link isn’t working, try this one.

It’s either Revengeance or Revengance.

BTW, I’m kinda waiting to upload a fix for this till I find more glitches to patch, but if you enter the boss room of the Metal Hall of Belly’s Temple, do not go back out, as it sends you to the water temple.

Made an account just to say - Please, please, PLEASE make the auto level-50 on all characters an optional thing.

The one thing I’d love to have is the ability to gain some progression and stats, and maybe even grind past 50.

I’m afraid the game wasn’t made with leveling in mind, so I’m not sure how I would go about incorporating that without going back and redoing most of the enemies and whatnot to include EXP gain and leveling.

On second thought, though, I’m not against the idea of them levelling up and getting a little stronger. I’ll see if I can’t implement something.

One issue I’m running into is leveling up the 50%HP/25%HP Arena forms, as well as having Toasty with and without trunk level up simutaneously, as Earthquake Warriors RPG wasn’t made with leveling up in mind. I feel like it might be easier to just make a new game with leveling, since I kinda have plans for games starring Splendid Ricky and Coolest Arte (since I have animations made for them that I want to put in a game) and have leveling in those. Right now, I’m not sure if adding leveling to Earthquake Warriors would be worth it.

I’m not sure it would make sense to change it now seeing how it was intended as a selling point several years back.

I do see why the lack of leveling is a letdown, though, and I did want to show off Coolest Arte/Splendid Ricky animations I made in game form, so I think making standalone RPGs about them, plus leveling, would be a happy compromise.

Sorry for taking so long. I kinda wanted to give people a chance to play the game before updating to fix the door back through the metal temple. Other than that, not much is updated.

Also, I kina took so long because it doesn’t feel like people are interested in this game. I kinda got demoralized. (Also, a little lazy, too).

GAME UPDATED TO 1.52!!!

Made a few more fixes. I figured out what was wrong with certain flames in the fire temple, and I fixed some broken moves like Greencario’s Chakra, Grill-Zilla’s Magic Donuts and Dobbins’ Snake Venom to name a few.

As for future updates, still not sure. I’m leaning towards making a new game about Arte or Ricky, but I’m still gonna try and update all the issues from this game when I find them.

Everytime I come back and play Earthquake Warriors, I find glaring issues I missed. Sigh

Small update to my game. Fixed Baalf not revealing the entrance to his cave after bearing the game, fixed a few typos and fixed the bookshelves in the bonus area. Baalf reveals some information about himself and the game if you wish to visit him in his cave.

I started working on a new Earthquake Warriors project. This is gonna be a seperate game, and it’s gonna focus more on character progression, which a few people seemed to have missed in Earthquake Warriors. This game is going to feature a bunch of mini-RPGs, so to say, where the Earthquake Warriors help out new and upcoming keepers of the Gordo Grande gem, as well as a paw-themed character I plan on adding in the future. Each new character, unlike previous characters, have to earn moves via level up, same with their Gordo Grande forms.

The first story is gonna be about a pair of gay forest guardians who run a coffee shop when they’re not protecting the forest from evil. Their story is gonna revolve around them finding their GG stones before taking on a villainous creature who has built an AI Database in their forest.

I tend to make characters for myself, first. and I like diversifying my characters. I felt like I didn’t have enough birds or LGBT characters in the roster. Heck, I ended up making a character Bi last minute because I wanted an LGBT character among the heroes, since the only LGBT confirmed characters are non-playable.

…Oh, yeah. Did I mention the Gordo Grande forms this time will be fully animated?

Been working on this game slowly but surely. I don’t have much to show off right now, since this game has been a side hobby I’ve only been working on about an hour a day, but I could show off some early enemies. What I have planned for Earthquake Warriors Progressables’ launch is two main quests: a big multi-parter involving the new characters Jibber and Jabber, as well as a smaller one starring Splendid Ricky.

For Jibber and Jabber, I plan on, at least, 8 to 9 main sections split into two parts, with part 1 focused on leveling up Jibber and Jabber’s regular form inside a massive forest, and part 2 focused on levelling up their Gordo Grande forms while fighting through an AI Data-Center filled with hand-drawn enemies meant to parody AI art.

For now, I got a few enemies to show off, including the main boss of the first area: The river. A wiley monkey-cat with guns acts as the main boss. The big bear (as well as Monkiel from the previous game) will also act as midbosses.
