For me what is just missing is the pose of the thief she is too close to the camera and nice work about the witch redraw.
She looks even better in colour. I kind of like how the girls seem to have their own dominant colour, since it helps to easily identify them when youāre quickly clicking on icons to get through those times lower.
It really is a shame the art caps at about 200, it would be cool if we could see them get bigger every 200 past that. especially considering how easy you can get the witch to gain weight on stage 11. I think the highest Iāve had her gain from the stage alone is⦠3k. Also the ability to go into levels with less than four would be a neat touch.
GREEN!
Oh god! Lvl 150!~
200ās even better! Canāt wait for the later forms!
So THICC!~
Either more high level art pics or just space the current art transitions out a bit more. Or maybe both.
Watching a supercharged witch fly through all her art transitions with one attack is pretty entertaining though.
Weāll get more levels eventually.
I have no plans for this. The Warrior may come back as a knight or paladin or something. I will not be reusing the old Witch design.
I donāt plan on redrawing either the Priestess or The Thief. I think both their designs are very good. If I were to modify their art, I would keep the existing art and zoom it out a little so you can see more of them.
I agree, I think sheās too close.
I really like ensembles where each character has a color that strongly identifies them (like power rangers, or magical girl teams)
The next updates will be adding 5 new weight levels to each of the characters.
Iām glad you like her lol!
I must admit Iām very disappointed to hear that, as I personally preferred the original Witch design to the new one considerably.
thank I love the thief and priestess design
Canāt please everyoneā¦
Honestly I was originally skeptical about a new design for the witch (as Iām not the biggest fan of the new warrior), but honestly, itās probably one of my favorite designs now! Something about her new design is so much nicer than what it was, itās excellent.
Nonetheless,
I canāt wait for these next updates now! But I do also somewhat hope the weights are more spaced out. Make it a little more work to see them at those higher weights.
I still enjoy the game, Iām just disappointed by the new Witch and the inability to ever see the design I preferred again. Iād even be okay with her being limited to the older versions of the game if we could go back and play them again, but, well. We canāt.
Iām not trying to be unreasonable or demand the change be reverted, I merely would like a way to return to the old version if I chose.
I was skeptical as well, and unfortunately my fears were correct. Happy to hear you enjoy the new design, nonetheless.
I am curious, what were your favorite parts of the old design? I might be able to reincorporate it back into the new design, or use it as the basis for a future character.
Me too lol, i think they are my favorites
Iām thinking of making the 2nd tier weights be at every 100 instead of every 50. Iām going to have to test it out to see what feels good.
I preferred the original Witch because:
ā¢I felt that her keeping her gain to her chest and hips, giving her an increasingly voluptuous hourglass figure, made her unique among the group.
ā¢I liked how you could see her red underclothes at high levels of weight and fullness, it really served to make stuffing her silly feel more satisfying, in my opinion.
ā¢I preferred the personality that the old Witchās art showed, more cool and collected than the new Witchās sassiness.
ā¢I found the original color scheme of dark green with some red accents more aesthetically pleasing than the lighter green accents of the new Witch.
lol I keep vacillating between a more realistic hourglass gain and just straight up hourglass expansion for her. A lot of the feedback I obtained suggested that a realistic gain would be received more widely. I might bring hourglass expansion back for another character.
This is a good point, no one really has any underclothes and this is a real missed opportunity. Iām gonna try to integrate this into more of the weight sequences going forward.
I see what your getting at here. Part of the impetus for the redesigns is it felt like a lot of the characterās personalities were just kind of āgenerically confidentā. Personally I felt that the Witch and especially the Warrior were really bad in this regard.
Red+green is a very powerful combo. Iāll have to use it if I run out of single color palettes
Thank you for listening to my feedback; I apologize for being a bit standoffish at first. Looking forward to seeing this project grow!
Of course, Iām always glad for feedback! Thereās always something to learn
Eat The Dungeon Update v0.3.3!

The Bard is looking bigger, and better, then ever!
