Gonna be honest here, I’m worried for these women if there are gonna be further weight stages. Well done so far!
i can confirm it doesnt truly reach 100%, but ive test on my bard with about 250 ish upgrades into speed she only added an extra 0.1 seconds into the cooldown even at a million weight, (I feel warrior now can definitely rack up alot more pounds now with those muscles !)
Any sneak peaks on the next update btw @bewildered_angel ?
In my rush to get everything done it ended up looking kind of crappy. I’ll go back and fix it at some point

I think new stuffing levels are the next thing I wanna do
Cant wait then you said these would be the immobile levels?
stuffing levels… as in the belly they get from eating?
The next set of weight levels will be the immobile ones, they will be part of v0.6.
Yup!
Yay! Can’t wait for the stuffed bellehs! x3
you know there’s been something i’ve been meaning to ask. you have a lot of characters set out, but do you have them already kind of set out? would you accept ideas for possible characters either now or further down the line?
I’m surprised the Thief is only able to attack front line enemies, considering Thief classes are usually known for going behind enemy lines to perform their attacks.
I’m always open to ideas and suggestions!
I wanted there to be two melee attackers and two ranged attackers in the starting lineup and thief makes more sense as a melee for me than witch or priestess
alright then, here’s a couple i’ve come up with so far:
duelist: physical/magic melee attack. favorite food is veggies. design would be a sort of rapier wielding, swashbucking princess type character. at higher weights she would react with embarrassment (ye lords, m-my shirt’s burst open!)
berserker: pure physical melee with sweep(above and below target). favorite food is ANYTHING. design would be a wild barbarian type with an axe and shark teeth. at higher weights she would react with sadistic glee at both being fed and causing damage
huntress: phys/guile(the shoe) single target ranged character. favorite food unspecified. design is based off your typical ranger using a bow. at higher weights would react with mild annoyance(hard to knock arrows when you can’t reach around your flabby chest)
dragoon: pure phys ranged character with shot penetration(will hit target and everything behind). favorite food is sweets. think your typical civil war era inspired uniform with rifle to match. at higher weights her reaction would be pure undistilled smug
of course you could take my ideas an do what you like, they’re just mild suggestions
Heh, I quite like those.
I’d really like to see the Duelist or Huntress for sure!
Haha, I like these a lot. The duelist/berserker//huntress statlines match up with stuff I want to add soon. I really like the dragoon being smugfat, I want to do something like that
Since xoyv and others have been throwing in some good ideas, I thought that I may also try some.
Warlock
A class that powers up when the other adventurers are KO’d, and it could go two different ways:
-
The Warlock gets powered up when one, or more, party members are KO’d, it doesn’t get more powerful if more than one is KO’d. The buff(s) should maybe be something like where she is as good as 2 people by this stage, but is weaker than a normal character without the buff.
-
The Warlock gets incremental powerups depending on how many party members are KO’d, the last powerup should probably make the warlock as good as an entire party to make it worthwhile. Might need a utility skill where she gets the other characters filled up quicker to make this one work.
The powerups could be everything from double power for her attacks, faster attacks or maybe even a quicker digestion rate (might be a good idea for the second variant of the warlock). And for her personality I’d imagine that she gets increasingly sadistic as she grows larger, as she’s gaining power (and thus more weight) from the suffering of her allies!
I’ve some more ideas cooking, but I’ll let them stew until I get some feedback on this one!
Y’know, I’ve been mulling over it for a while, and I just realized that not having a Dragon’s Crown in this game would be a huge waste. So, let me put my two cents on the table.
Beastmaster:
Ranged Phys + Stat buff (5/2)
The ranged phys damage being the beasts she commands and the stat buff being whichever ally riding one of her beasts.
Pear shape, but not to the degree Thief is. Her reaction to the gain, I figure would be mild annoyance, since the larger she grows, the less of her pets she can ride on.
Favors Meat, for obvious reasons.
Taoist/Onmyo:
Ranged Mag + Prot (4/4)
The same concept as before, only the damage and prot being “spirits” instead of tangible beings.
Top heavy, each stage making her yukata a bit looser. Her reaction to gain would be kind of a haughty conceit. Think of it as the classic “Ojou” laugh. Hand over the mouth, chin up, “Ohohohoho” and all that. If you chose to make her a fox lady, you could have her eyes closed on the first few stages and her eyes squinty as she gains. Very few things get conceit across as well as squinting.
Favors Fruit, because foxes.
Before I present the last one, I’d like to include the possibility of a “Debuff” mechanic. The way I’d thought about it originally was forcing the struck enemy on a flat duration cooldown for 3 to 5 seconds. I’ve been sitting on it, though, and I’ve considered the possibility of turning it into “the struck enemy takes X+ damage from the next attack” instead. X being the Debuff value.
Alchemist:
Ranged Guile + Debuff (4/1)
Essentially, throwing potions at enemies.
Hyper hourglass (Pre-rework Witch), whatever clothes she wears tightening around her as she grows.
As for her reaction, I imagine her being cautiously indifferent. As in, she starts not minding it much, but as things get out of hands, she tries to keep herself “under control” so to speak.
Favors Fruit, Veggies or Dairy, because alchemy.
Given that enemy positioning plays a part in the game as well, I’ve considered for “push” and “pull” mechanics, but I’m not coming up with classes those mechanics would fit well into.
ライザ will be a best choice for Alchemist’s character.
an idea i’ve been working on for a while.
Character 6: sorceress
Damage: Magic
Combat: can target entire first column, with more damage to the selected target.
cooldown: 3 seconds
weight: almost completely in the bust. like a top-heavy hourglass, with most of the rest in her hips.
reaction: either happy or annoyed.
description: a topshirt that doesn’t cover her belly, and very small, stretchy shorts. either a flame color scheme or a frost scheme.
I’m a big fan of Warlocks personally and I really like the personality here, but I’m not interested in adding new mechanics right now. I’d rather play with the range/aoe/ability combinations
This is intriguing. I’m not a fan of the reaction, I’d rather go for bigger and more exaggerated reactions.
I like this, smug ojous are very good, I definitely want one in the game!
While I’m adverse to adding new mechanics right now, if I ever do it might be this debuff idea, it sounds cool. Abilities that adjust enemy position might be interesting.
I like this, I think interesting AOE shapes are cool

If you’ll let me shill for moment, the legendary patreon tier will let you submit character designs for inclusion into the game. There are two slots open right now I think
