While I’ve never really like level caps, I can’t deny how useful they are. You’ve given me a lot to think about

i was just thinking of how the speed system rework wouldve been if you just jacked all your speed onto a adventurer

I think I’ll make the formula SPEED_REDUCTION * BASE_ATTACK_SPEED * FAT_LEVEL, just to keep it simple. This has the side effect of buffing the speed stat a little

Here’s the balance update I previously mentioned. It’s meant to balance the DPS of AOE/single target characters, and make non-ranged characters more attractive picks. I’ve also finished planning the new levels, and next week I should be able to release them!

I’m a huge fan of this game and I can’t wait to see what new characters and animations get added to the game in the future. My suggestions for upcoming updates would be for the spellblade and the knight to have more fatter final animations and for more levels. Other than that I think its a very addicting game!

The update schedule thing is on Bewildered Angel’s Patreon. You don’t need to pledge to see it. This is what it says.

Major Update v0.6

  • Seventh Adventurer
  • Levels 19-24
  • New weight levels for the Spellblade
  • Battle Mode UI assets

Major Update v0.7

  • Eight Adventurer
  • Levels 25-30
  • New weight levels for Spellblade, and Knight
  • Upgrade Mode UI assets

Major Update v0.8

  • Ninth Adventurer
  • Levels 31-36
  • New weight levels for Knight, Eighth Adventurer, and Ninth Adventurer
  • Add MUSIC and/or SFX

Major Update v0.9

  • Tenth Adventurer
  • Levels 37-41
  • New weight levels for Eighth Adventurer, Ninth Adventurer, and Tenth Adventurer
  • Add remaining MUSIC and/or SFX

As for when each update is added, it’s normally around 1-2 weeks per minor part of the update. (With weight levels, it’s normally 1 week or so per character) The v0.# are just whatever update is last in the list. It takes around 2 months for each v0.# update to happen. Keep in mind these times aren’t what it always is, it’s just the pattern i’ve noticed

Edit: Is it possible you can add a replay button at the end of a dungeon? in case anyone wants to run that same dungeon more than once?

A replay button probably would be possible, but what would be the point? Wouldn’t you want to extract first?

Also, my guess is that the new levels would be for priestess, because currently she is the only one out of the 4 original characters to have not gotten one yet (2-5 is thief, 7-11 is witch, 13-17 is warrior)

not always. If you focus on just one unit getting all the mass, there’s not much reason to go back to the extract/level up menu each time you complete a stage, the only one being that your main unit is now too slow for even the refreshers to keep them going.

No, she got her new levels a while ago. Pretty sure OP meant new levels of the game. He even detailed his update schedule just a few posts up.

I mean levels as in ones you play, not weight levels

The most recent ones were actually based off the spellblade >_> so it could be either knight or Priest we’ll never know

Question: Will there be nudity for future weight levels? or will that be for something else?

Yeah there’s gonna be a lot of focus on enemies weak to faith in the upcoming levels

I intended to most recent levels for the Warrior, though the spellblade does get secondary focus

I don’t plan on adding nudity

Oooooh does this mean it wont be a big list of levels to scroll to when the ui changes are made?
