Eat The Dungeon General Discussion

It’s no secret that I’m belly nation raised and proud(REALLY proud, for better or worse)! But boobs, butts, thighs, and other parts are nice too(even unusual ones like arm fat(which seems to be somewhat uncommon in fat art, or, at least, isn’t the focus) or fatmons)!

Honestly, you’d probably love Bonusart. They specify arms in their little caption when they leave comments!

Man, a lot has changed while I was away…

Loving the new UI and background! Really adds some visual flare that the game needs.

And while I have a bit of bad blood with the nerd and gluttons’ designs, I can’t argue their usefulness, even outside of the courses meant for them.

Only real complaint I have so far is the difficulty spike after Beefcake, specifically the time ranks all being the same and really not being optimized to how long they actually are.

Eat the Dungeon is really shaping up, I say!

(And I need the Lamia damnit)

Probably just wasn’t updated like everything else- those kinds of things happen!

With the next stage block, I’m sure the next boss will be a “Salad Dragon” of some sort, unless we introduce new food groups with future updates.

Of course, we’re probably going to run out of ways to present different dragons, so I’m gonna propose some new boss-monsters for when we inevitably run out:

Gorgons: A notoriously deadly monster that has a lot of creative potential with their hair. Gummy worms, sausage links, grape vines- the list goes on.

Sphinxes: An imposing creature that has just as many possibly angles to take as the dragon. A cake sphinx is my first choice.

Archfiends: Everything’s better with demons!

Krakens: Similar to the gorgon, there’s a lot of different ways to approach these tentacled beasts. Standard squid, cuttlefish, anthro- and they’re no less imposing.

But honestly, this is just my thought process.

I mean, a Sphinx would make a lot of sense as the first new boss variety to be introduced after the Lamia, after all! Good idea, overall, and I like the way you think.

I need to retime all the levels anyway, with the new speed formula.

Yeah I want a dragon for each of the food types, then I want to branch out into other boss monsters

Sweet! Don’t suppose we’ll get other incredibly powerful but more obscure monsters like Beholders? Just as an example, not actually asking for Beholders.

there was a major performance drop, I dont know if this was brought up but it is virtually unplayable for my system in it’s current state and I cleared cache and everything, not sure what I can do or say about it

You playing on a laptop? If it’s unplugged, that could hurt performance something mighty.

Ah, so I have no idea.

I imagine it could just be a net connection issue, but I could easily be wrong.

Obscure stuff, yeah. Probably not gonna have a Beholder because they’re registered trademarks of WOTC.

What browser are you using?

Also, probably not terribly surprising, but the Lamia by Scryer is the new illusionist in Eat the Dungeon! Please look forward to her being added next week!

I am very much looking forward to seeing how she plays (and fattens up).

Bloody hell. We all knew she’d start off with a big belly, but wasn’t expecting her to be this fat!

Not complaining, just suprised.
