Yellow girl’s the Warrior.
totally not gonna happen but im putting my vote into spider gorl
I have no money for Patreon, but I am once again hoping for Engineer as I really want to see what double-buffing might allow, and a character being able to buff themselves (including a shield) would be really nice.
We already have a “double buffing” character in Bard, which is honestly why I’m not sure if engineer would be all too great, or at the very least, there might not be all too much point or reason.
I meant what might happen if we have two characters that both have the ‘Buff’ ability (the upwards arrow). Also, the ability to shield the rest of the party with a strong shield would be amazing.
Oh, I see, I guess I just misunderstood what you meant by “double buff” then. Sorry about that.
I do kind of wish there was sound but so far I am kind of liking the game
I’m torn between wanting the fox girl and the spider, since the fox girl looks plain cute and I love seeing monstergirls get more rep
I really like the kitsune’s design and hope she gets added. The bunny girl looks cute too.
I’d definitely be going more for the bunny myself- we need more varied body types in the roster, I say!
So I ended up blasting through just about all the game’s content in les that 2 days (estimate around 8-9 hours). I S tiered some of the harder missions and experienced just about everything there was to experience. I found the combat system fairly unique even despite my bias towards mixed systems {Ex: Health and WG being separate} and the artwork was surprisingly high quality. With that being said, once I did finish the game I felt like there was nothing I could do. Sure you could add more missions and more character sprites but that would only delay the inevitable. Instead of just adding more content to pad out how long the game lasts, a better idea would be making that existing content (with some additions) last much longer if not nearly “forever”
List of possible additions/changes
- Leveling System (Weight extracted also fills up a bar that indicates your level. When you’ve collected a total level of weight regardless of if it was spent or not you level up. What the exact benefits to each rank up is beyond me but it could be a nice addition. Perhaps add some tech tree using the level system?)
- Prestige System (Can effectively “restart” your progress for a permanent award)
- Mission Shuffle (Already done a particular mission a bunch? Toggle shuffle mode and those enemies get shuffled in a different order and formation to mix things up along with the reward being greater)
- Failure States (If you do not complete the mission by a certain time or your characters get KOd a certain amount of times you would lost your progress and perhaps have some penalty as well; have certain missions like the bonus ones not have this issue)
- Hoard Mode (Go for as long as you can, get greater rewards the longer you last; has the afore mentioned failure states)
- Fattening Enemies (None of the enemies attacks ever fatten the player, only ever apply stat debuffs or weight decrease, so I though having this would be interesting since having an enemy that could fatten characters could make weight grinding less tedious and give a challenge to those who’s builds rely on how fast slim characters can attack)
- Better/Scaling items (At lower levels the items you collect are fairly strong but at higher levels they are nearly useless. Something that could be done to avoid this would be to have the items scale with the player’s level so that the do not become nearly worthless)
- Audio/Music (It really bugged me that there were no voicelines, sounds, music, etc. since having sound can add to the experience)
I know this is a lot to ask for, and frankly I do not expect any of these to be implemented due to how much coding/development it would take for each of these, I feel like they would be great additions to an already fairly good game.
you will get your wish soon.
In general I’m hesitant to add new modes and features since the more stuff I have to support, the more slowly updates have to come out. I think keeping up the weekly-ish pace of updates is important, and I’ve seen many projects undone by biting off more than they can chew.
I’m resistant to this because I think it would make farming for fat trivial, which is also boring in it’s own right.
Lately I’ve been thinking of changing the items so they’re extremely powerful but have long cooldowns, so they’re like bombs in top down shooter games.
This is already on the schedule, which you can check under the “About” section of this page: https://www.patreon.com/bewildered_angel/membership
Took several hours to do (I want to say 7 or 8), but 8 was able to get 1 million weight on Bard!
For those wondering, I was grinding off of the plant dragon boss level.
Would you like some MoOoOoOoRe
A little over 2 months ago, I created a post saying my thoughts on how good each character is and how viable they are. While I still stand by almost everything I said, one thing has changed, and it’s that in that post, I said that the Illusionist was the best character in the game. My opinion on who the best character is has changed since then, so what I want to know is, what you guys think; Who do you think is the best character and why?
(for those wondering, my opinion changed in favor of Bard being the best character)
Thief. Once you get her speed and metabolism high enough, she just becomes an enemy shredder.
I can’t go into much detail right now, as it’s late and I can barely spell three words in a row without seeing a red line pop up, but Thief is just S+ tier.
she also has my personal favorite gain, though priestess and knight are great too
Here’s the options for the final Engineer design!
