EVORIA - A Stuffing/Vore Themed RPG!

----------CHAPTER 10----------

It’s finally here!! Evoria Chapter 10!

This chapter may be a bit shorter than you expect, but it’s -very- different from anything I’ve done in the game thus far. And that is all I will say on the matter.

There’s also a ton of overhauls and gameplay changes in this update, so consider checking out the patch notes here!

! IMPORTANT SAVE INFO !

Since the game has been totally overhauled, there are some complications with older saves. Using an old save IS possible, but only if you’ve beaten Chapter 9! From there, go to Fuchsia’s club and pass through the stairs right outside of her office. Here, your characters will be reformatted to work with the new combat system! Of course, if you haven’t beaten Chapter 9, you can always start from wherever you like with the new Chapter select!

Patreon stuff will continue as normal- the bonus scenes are gonna keep on coming every month!! Plus the usual developer commentary tracks and WIP development updates on my future projects!! “Wow, we should all go check out forotherpurposes’ Patreon page right now!” You all say in unison.

We’ve finally closed the book on this era, but don’t despair!! This isn’t the last you’ll see of me!! In fact, I’ve got something I’m pretty excited to show you guys… Even if you’re a member of the Patreon and have already beaten Chapter 10, there’s a little something extra after the ending…

This game has been an absolute dream to work on, I really can’t state enough how happy I am to be doing what I’m doing. Whether it’s getting to collaborate with Sea Bea, talking shop with my bugtesters, or even talking to you guys and reading all your amazing comments! I have met and interacted with so many incredible people (despite being a chronic introvert myself)- Evoria has truly been a high point of my life. Thank you all for being here, and I hope you’ll stick around to see what else I’ve got planned!

Download the game here!

I hope you enjoy it!!

now that i have seen the animation, i can confirm that it added to the experience greatly.

also, that ending was messed up, and it makes me curious as to how the story could move forward from there.

I definitely enjoyed the combo attacks. They are fun. But did they lose their magic attacks? Naomi did not have her fire attack.

IMO, the new combat is a mixed bag in exaction.

The Star meter & Combo’s? 10/10, no notes, flawless victory.

The removal of SP on the other hand… i REALLY don’t like!

Because so many of the moves now cost HP (even when it would make ZERO sense like with weapon moves) combined with how small the HP pool of the 4 are, it can easily become counterintuitive to use them, leading me to NEVER use ANY of them as if i DID that could have gotten me killed. On top of that, the amount of MP moves are so small that upgrading MP on anyone OTHER then Cherry is strait-up a bad idea, as she’s the only character with a varied selection MP-costing moves large enough to justify selecting MP over HP.

Part of why i like this game so much over others such as SBS is because of how balanced the combat is despite being what i refer to as a “Static Encounter RPG” as many others (Even SBS) have the common trapping of poor balancing, the HP cost for specials makes synergizes WAY to well with the enemy turn & can quickly make the use of specials seem to punishing, encouraging players to only use the ones that cost MP at best or forgo specials altogether at worst.

----------NEW CHAPTERS TRAILER + RELEASE OUTLINE----------

Check out the trailer here!

That’s right!! The end is not the end! We’re only halfway through, baby!! Evoria is getting a whole whopping 10 new chapters to complete its story!

There’s a whole lot more stuff coming, but this’ll all start with-

CHAPTER 11

Disaster strikes… Naomi’s friends are gone. But, with enough determination… Can she bring them back…?

I’ve been actively working on this chapter for a WHILE now, and I’m super excited to finally show it off! It’ll still be a while before it’s ready for release, but progress is coming along very well! It’s shaping up to be one of if not the longest chapter in the game so far, so get ready for that!

But like you saw in the trailer, Chapter 11 isn’t the only new chapter coming! There aren’t any set-in-stone release dates (We usually don’t know when something’ll be ready until like a week beforehand haha) but here’s the planned order of release for everything coming in the future:

Each line on this schedule will be released as a separate update! As you can see, there’s a few new sidequest updates coming that weren’t shown off in the trailer! Plus, a few chapters will be paired to release together! (This is mainly to pair a super short chapter with a longer one.)

Listed here is everything I have planned for the future of Evoria. I really mean it when I say that Chapter 20 genuinely is the final chapter of the game. Now that Chapter 10 is out, I want to be a lot more transparent about the planned release schedule in the future. (In retrospect, I should’ve just been vague about Chapter 10 being the “ending” instead of outright saying anything but oh well, live and learn…)

I’ve had this sort of “finale that’s not the finale” for Chapter 10 planned since I came up with the idea for Evoria! Here’s an excerpt from an older “full story outline” doc from 2023-

A lot of things have changed since then, but it’s kinda funny that I kept the credits theme the same! I am very much a “plan ahead” sort of guy, and while some smaller plot details may change as I work on the game, the broad strokes and arcs for all the main characters have been outlined for years now! Now all I have to do is cross my fingers that everything’ll flow smoothly…

These new chapters will all be a part of the main Evoria game. There were talks about possibly separating Chapters 11-20 into a “sequel” project, but in order to keep all the sidequests, museum exhibits, and adventurer’s database entries in one place, I decided it’d work better if Evoria was one massive 20-Chapter game.

I’m so excited to finally have this reveal out for the public! It’s been agony keeping all of this secret for so long! (Especially when I was working on stuff like the combat overhaul- It wouldn’t make sense to rewrite everything right before the final chapter but since we’re only halfway, hopefully it makes more sense!) Plus, now that all those overhauls are done, I’ve personally made a rule not to go back and remake ANYTHING else from earlier chapters! (I guess I could do like a small one-line tweak or bugfix but NOTHING MORE!) My sole job at this point is just to work on NEW content!!

When I first started working on this game, I knew I wanted it to be a big thing that I’d be working on for years to come, but Evoria has really grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. Let’s see it through to the end!

I just started the game last night. I like the characters so far, but have zero clue how to use the magic. I thought I was supposed to be timing it to land inside the circle, but it keeps saying error. I’ve tried the spacebar and X buttons in case I was hitting the wrong one and still got errors. I’m entirely confused on how this works.

I like Naomi and Renee already though. Their dynamic is cool. :green_heart::purple_heart:

That’s awesome! I can’t wait to play the entire whole 20-Chapter game once it’s complete.

Hey…did anyone else had some crashes with the new version? As of now i only had 2 and they seemed random, with the old version i never had any, and also while i was playing the latest version, i noticed that the longer i play the game, the more my RAM usage increase exponentially.

As for now i never had any other rpg maker that use such large amount of RAM without never stabilizing on a certain amount, as an example: when i reset the game (pressing F5) it should also reset the RAM usage (with the old it did in a way) but instead it keep increasing it, so i think the game keep increasing the RAM until it crashes.

Now…unfortunately im not a tech guy so with my doofus brain i can only make assumption, but since i know that i dont have a potato pc and i didnt have any problem with the old version and other games, im 80% sure that its a game flaw. Hope that this can help somehow!….if its actually a game bug ahahah, if not i hope someone in here with a bigger brain than me can give some clue thanks!

(PS: i had a debug note when the game crashed, unfortunately….i delete it….but if it happen again i will write it here for sure!)

Can anyone read the hidden text in the Chapter 10 credits?

I gotta say I kind of fell away from this game during the chapter 7 - 8 period. But seeing that new trailer as well as hearing Tally Hall of all things as the music for it has given me new found motivation to see this game to the end.

I honestly can’t wait to see the true end of this game, you got this.

I believe it says

That look, is it sadness? Pathetic.
You made me do this.
Their lives, their fates, that’s on you.
But never fret, my little morsel.

since it doesn’t seem finished I assume it gets completed with “The end is not the end"

Talk about a dark ending. This is the first time the protagonist actually got her Vore ending. Except it’s her own friends.

I mean, they’ve sometimes let their bellies take the wheel, but Naomi’s… Yikes. Even Lilith’s stomach wasn’t that merciless. It didn’t care if it’s Naomi’s friends.

Speaking of, what did Renee picked up before Naomi swallowed them in her vore frenzy? Something important, maybe?

Wait, did that just happen?

I just came back and wanted to check about this game since i haven’t played it in a long time (I think since the part after we help Lillith). But then I start scrolling past the comments…

Did Naomi really ate her friends? I know this is not the end, but… I can only say is a bold move for a story. I feel… sad.
