I am once again developing the game. I am currently facing some serious health issues, which is the main reason why I stopped working on the project for several months. With that said, I have found the motivation to continue the project where I left.
I had to rebuild the SQL database from scratch, but considering how I am working on a brand new battle system it was straightforward enough. I have also worked on new and improved features! Here is a list:
Brand new combat system, similar to Club Penguinâs Card-Jitsu battles.
Avatar selection which will show a certain âplayermodelâ getting fatter as you battle.
Animations for the pack-opening.
Reinforced security to avoid exploits.
HUD changes.
A welcome pack which will contain enough cards to start battling other players.
Weekly rotation showcased card: Every week you will be able to complete missions (opening free packs, winning battles, etc.) And earn free Special/Legendary cards.
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Contact information.
The Discord in the main post is still active and the main channel of communication, so feel free to join. At the moment, however, we will not be taking on new artists until the game is ready for limited release.
I will also be looking out for artists to commission game art from (not card art) eventually, but I am currently in a precarious economic situation, meaning that will have to wait as well.

New update in just two days! Originally I was going to wait, but I have worked on enough new content in the last 48 hours to warrant making a new post.
Improved combat hud and systems: There are now cards with special effects (just like in Card-Jitsu). I have also made the experience more seamless, implementing AFK timers, victories when the other party quits, etc.
Implemented combat weight-gain mechanics: As you lose rounds in battle, you will be able to see your character growing fatter⌠Or perhaps you will be the one fattening the others? On release there will be six avatars to choose from, which will determine which playermodel is yours.
Worked on the dreary, dreary world of website building: Purchased a domain for the game, set up an SMPT Service to verify peopleâs e-mails and avoid fraudulent activity, implemented Cloudflare Turnstile to avoid bots and malicious activity, linked the purchased domain to the existing host, handled the SSL, etc.
Weekly missions: You will now have a set of missions revolving around winning battles, trading, and opening packs to obtain the weekly Special/Legendary card.
Minor adjustments to the website.

Omg this game seems so awesome! super unique and breathes a breath of fresh air across the Forum! Itâs always nice to find a new style of game never seen before (donât quote me) on the forum!
Avatars: Upon registration, you will be allowed an avatar from a curated selection. Based on which one you choose, you will have a different sprite during card battles, as will your opponent. Whoever loses each round will have their character put on a few pounds!
Social: The social tab allows you to add friends, trade with them, display your favourite card and flavour, see statistics about your FattyDex completion, and even challenge your friends to combat.
Holographic cards: Holographic cards have been added to the game. They add some flavour and they are pretty rare! You can click them and move them around to see the holographic effect.
