Yes, this is the plan. But I won’t be putting that in the next update because I want to change the whole settings UI. So in the meanwhile I want to know what I should do for the coming update.

It’s nice seeing them together the height difference in the girls are really apparent like this. I always forget how tall Marie is compared to Amber and Lisa (and how short they are in comparison) since we don’t get to see them all in frame outside of a few scenes.

God DAMN that trailer on DA was good! I saw some sneak peaks at future gains that I am sure people here wanna see Fattening Career Trailer by bladerune9 on DeviantArt . Are these new things all present in the upcoming release or is this looking further into the future?

Very excited for this update, started playing it this afternoon and loving the new content so far. However, I hit an error while working at Bunny Bites on Saturday of week 5, the game crashed and said:

If I went back to an older save and took different actions so that a different combination of diners came to the restaurant, that seemed to get around it. It seemed to freeze after Hari visited.

The trailer is fantastic and I am very much looking forward to playing the update!
I need to report an odd error. Typically when playing RenPy games I add options to 00keymap.rpy for skipping using mouse button 7, and to stopping skipping using mouse button 6. However, at least on the Mac version, this always causes the game to crash while starting up, before the title screen.

The renpy engine was update to the most recent version for 0.07 and this has the effect of not remembering the old dialogue from other versions of the game. Which means skipping already seen dialogue doesn’t work (or atleast not consistently)
This was outlined in the 07/06 develog on patreon.

This has nothing to do with actually skipping dialogue, it’s an error that occurs at startup upon changing the hotkey options in 00keymap.rpy.
Honestly this seems to just be a curious, difficult to debug additional potential issue that may have come with the RenPy version update… apparently I could get around this by adding ‘mousedown_7’ to ‘toggle_skip’, instead of ‘skip’… the traceback just points to display/behavior.py. Huh. It’s fine enough for me, anyway.

Hey sorry for having to experience this, I will push a fix later today.
The freeze is related to having not enough girls available to visit during this event and it then tries to choose a new one to visit but all options are either exhausted or not available yet. I removed Caroline from the rotation and this is the unintended consequence that happened because of it.
I’m glad you found a way to get around it for now.
@mistress.mima I checked it on my computer, and for me it also crashes when I do this in the 00keymap.rpy file, so it seems to not be only Mac related. I would think this is caused by the engine upgrade but I need to investigate further on this.

Been looking forward to this! New Update! What do I think?
- I really like the new stuff with Katrine and Trista, they’re quickly becoming some of my favorite gals
- The new daisy stuff is great, she’s sexier than ever. Admittedly the cult stuff is a bit ehh for me but oh well
- I have gone on record saying I adore Lynn/Leanne and that is true!!! This update gave me some great moments! The choice is tough though. Leanne is objectively the sexier choice, Lyn only really has like, one sexy outfit total and doesn’t seem as into gaining and less sexual overall, but choosing Leanne feels unethical - shitty lol. I want to choose Lyn cuz I care about her, but Lyn feels a bit boring in my opinion. I don’t like the choice being “do you want sexy images or do you want a girlfriend”?
- I’ve complained before but I’ll say it again: what is the obsession with drunk sex, I feel like there’s even more of it now and it makes me uncomfortable. We’ve got a needle blocker now, which is great accessibility, but I wish I could set it to skip JUST the drunk sex scenes. They’re uncomfortable and not super ethical.
- The one thing that REALLY takes me out of the immersion is some of the gym content, which is a shame because I really enjoy seeing more characters in more places. However, I cannot stand that my protagonist is encouraging them to be be toned and in better shape. My personal fetishes don’t really line up with that, so the self-insert protag is actively arguing with me. I think it would be better to have a choice in the matter, for your player to be able to choose whether or not they encourage working out. I also just want to see more characters in more places. I know its tough, but new bits of dialogue help a lot to make it feel like i’m not mashing through pngs.
- New content for the bunny girls is great! I’m finally starting to like them! However, there’s not a ton of it, and it quickly becomes apparent once every girl is at max stage, except all 3 bunny bites girls, maya, and cayenne, and so I must slowly grind each of them up, with no/limited new dialogue, to max stage.
- I think the game would benefit from tightly improving the cast it has before focusing on its extended cast. I really can’t be bothered to care too much about most of the hospital experiment girls, since there’s no tracker for any of them and I have no active agency in fattening them. Rebecca is a similar frustration, as I have no agency in her weight gain, and there’s only two stages - she’s maxed out basically as soon as you meet her.
Essentially what I mean by this is… I don’t want more content with the hospital girls or new books or new characters, until the main cast as-is feel equally complete to each other, or at least until the hospital girls have weight trackers and I can actually choose to interact with them. Poor Marie is one of my favorites, but there’s basically only 3 scenes total with you talking to her about her gain. Cayenne actively bores me because she’s all egypt-cult-kink, and only 2 stages of dialogue. Maya barely exists, but her stages of weight gain take up the time I wish I could spend on another date with Bonnie or Lynn.
I feel bad ending the comments on a downer of my frustrations with sideways development bloat. I think this was a good update, it added lots of little dialogue scenes that improved the game, the gym concept is great to feel more inter-connected. I want more of that though. I want to talk to the girls more outside of their usual haunting grounds. I want to see jiggly out of shape exercise. I want public fat hijinks. I want characters commenting on each others gains, Trista and Katrine are really the only execution of this fantasy.
All in all, good update, I believe it was worth the wait, the new content is well-written, the models are gorgeous, and my favorite girl got some great new stuff for the most part! However, I think the game at times stretches itself too thin and expects me to care equally about tons of characters, some of which I have no agency in the lives of, some of which have no dialogue or personalities, and some of which lack events overall, which is all to the, in my view, detriment of the girls I wish that development time went to - I was really hoping for some new Bonnie and Rebecca events, or for MORE time with Lyn/Leanne, as it feels kinda abrupt - suddenly jumping to her as a BBW, then only about 2-3 dates total and only 1 level of streaming.
EDIT: Also, really unsure why Maya and Cayenne and Lisa have well-animated scenes at the gym, but fan favorites like Daisy and Trista primarily have static images to represent their jiggly workouts.

Question. Will the hospital girls other than Luna actually become interactable or will they just stay as they are? As a package to Luna’s route?
I think Charlene story has potential with the whole potentially getting the disease that killed her mother and grandmother and so on.

Isn’t Maya’s weight gain literally only done through Bunny Bites? I mean, if you want to go on a another date wirh Lyn or Bonnie, you can easily do that and put Maya progression in the backburner, as again, Maya is basically non-existent when it comes to events.

Also, I noticed an error in diologue with Bonnie’s sex scene.
Ive noticed this last update but seeing it still present, Im just going to point it out here.
Bonnie says, “You never fail to disappoint” after you have sex with her.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but when she says “You never fail to disappoint” shes basically you’re always succeeding in disappointing her.
Which is weird when she says that after saying the sex was good.
