Hello everyone, I just wanted to make a quick update on the development of Fattening Career on here.
There has been a bunch of feedback on the last update which helps me out a lot, so please keep it coming.
The next update(0.09) has been in development for a while now, and it is shaping up to be quite a substantial update to the game. Here are a few things that will be in there.
- New UI features: New buttons that allow you to undress and turn the character portrait around in the stats menu.
- A new story button that shows you the character’s bio
- Continued overhaul to the repeated classroom sequence
- Achievement system
- New stories/events for the Bunny Bites girls
- More events for both Hari and Cayenne
- Milking event for Britta
- And a lot more
I’ll be posting on here and my other socials whenever the next update has an official release date.
Another cool thing, Fattening Career is now featured in the steam next fest.
Make sure to check it out and play the latest version(0.8) for free on there if you haven’t yet.
And lastly I made a new trailer for the game, this one is very lewd and has some spoilers for the next update.

so when this game gets released on steam will it be all finished, or will there still be updates after its released on steam with the steam version being a one time purchase for the game?

Wow, the resolution and detail on that scene in the storage room are next level, a step up from renders I’d seen for this game before!

I’ll probably release the game in a beta state on steam. Which is when all the characters have their own stories and stages, the saves are compatible with future versions and all the features and locations are fleshed out.
After that I’ll still update the game to completion and everyone who purchased the game will get the updates.

Thanks! It helps that the trailer is in 1080p though, while all the visuals in the game are 720p.
Some of the 4k scenes I did look even better, with a lot of skin detail that is lost in the lower resolutions.

The next update for Fattening Career now has a release date!
The weekend of march 23-24.
This update will have a lot of new content, here is the changelog for the next update:
- New UI features: New buttons that allow you to undress and turn the character portrait around in the stats menu.
- A new story button that shows you the character’s bio
- Continued overhaul to the repeated classroom sequence, including a reworked way to go through Daisy’s classroom sequence.
- New stories/events for the Bunny Bites girls, including an update to the money earned at Bunny Bites.
- More events for both Hari and Cayenne
- Milking event for Britta
- Two Sally events
- The start of Maya content
- The strip club has been updated visually and in name (Amber and Katrine scenes featuring the old version will be redone but not in 0.09)
- The costume contest event (formerly the Halloween event)

want save starting with 0.08 update

Saves will not be compatible between 0.08 and 0.09.
They will work, but you’ll be experiencing many bugs and crashes and the new content will most likely not trigger.

And it’ll be better to start over anyway to see any new early game content or dialog

no I just want the save to play 0.08 update, last update i played was 0.07

Saves are not compatible between any versions currently during the alpha stage of development (which the game has been in and still is). There’s new content, systems and features being added to each new build (0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09 etc.) So, if you try to use an old save you will miss out on any new content that was added earlier than when the save would start, plus it will cause errors.
Saves will eventually be compatible when the game leaves its alpha stage of development and goes into beta. Which won’t be adding in any new girls, systems, early content and just continuing the built foundation of the game and all the routes. So, until otherwise stated you won’t be able to use an old save.

I think they’re asking for current build saves to be included alongside the update. Current build saves that immediately dive into the new content, not saves that are carried over from the previous build.

Thanks for reporting this error.
I have a few questions to help me narrow down why this is happening.
- Did you play from a fresh start or an old save?
- What was the last event that triggered for you?
- When did you enter Bunny Bites to work there?(day and time of day.)
As a quick fix, you can reload an autosave and instead of staying to work more, you can leave Bunny Bites during your shift and the error should not occur.
