I personally really, really enjoy the drinking/drunken scenes. Everyone knows alcohol helps with weight gain and for me there is something so sexy about the characters getting drunk and bloated. I would much prefer a toggle than tone down, because I really like this type of content. I know it makes some people uncomfortable, but there are some folks (including women that I know personally) who are really into it. In fact, it’s one of the things about this game that, for me, sets it apart from other wg games/visual novels. Just my two cents.

Just to put my 2 cents in, I don’t observe any questionable situation where the main character coerces or manipulates an intoxicated woman into doing anything, and scenes where women are drinking alcohol aren’t actually that frequent. Most of the women in the game currently have no scenes where they drink at all. This is not to say I think anyone’s personal feelings about such scenes are invalid, everyone is entitled to their preferences. I just think we should be careful about how we express our tastes and distastes.
Sure, in real life drunk sex is arguably not a good foundation for a serious romantic relationship and could be morally questionable between relative strangers. But in this fantasy fiction where every girl in town is interested in us and shares our fetish for weight gain and hedonism, I think we can cut such scenes a fair bit of slack. I agree that intoxication is also part of the hedonism aspect that some - maybe even many people will especially enjoy, and there’s really nothing in the way drinking scenes are written that should make us feel like we are doing something wrong.
I kind of think a slight change of wording from drunk to tipsy is insubstantial and essentially meaningless, but I’ll leave it up to the dev and writers to decide how to respond to each player reaction. I was the guy who said the hospital scene where the girls get injections made me cringe, and some people called me a baby but Bladerune9 put a skip in there, so I guess everyone else should be afforded the opportunity to have their preferences appealed to.

I guess I will share my opinion on this drunk matter as well. I personally really enjoy the variety in the different events and girls in this game. There really is a lot of variety even though the game is still in Alpha.
As harsh as it may sound, I feel people should act a little less entitled and get over themselves, when there is a small part of the game that does not live up 100% to their idea of sexy. I fear that if everything gets “toned down” or changed in a significant way that the amazing variety is in jeopardy and that the game might turn bland, since nobody is into the exact same things.
This rings especially true in the matter of drunk scenes. There are very few of these in the game and a lot of people enjoy them. At no point were the scenes tasteless in any way or manipulative or anything like that. It was just two people going out drinking and nobody turned senselessly drunk at any point during these events. The girls always seemed to be at a point where the alcohol merely made them give slightly more into feelings that were already there.
Also during the drinking scenes with Amber you are drinking yourself and the game even says that you both are somewhat tipsy, so how can this be taking advantage of anyone or be tasteless in any way? Again, not to sound too harsh, but dates in real life often involve a bottle of wine, a few beers or maybe some drinks. If you both wanted sex after that, would you just decline because you had been drinking a few? Seems unrealistic and strange to me, unless one of you were blackout drunk. Oh, and btw I seem to remember a scene with Kathrine drinking. As far as I remember she is 34 years old. I think that should be old enough to take care of herself after a few beers with a 21 year old.
So, yeah, all I am trying to say in the most respectful way possible is that there is plenty other content in the game if there is a small part you do not like that much, and I think if the vocal minority gets their way too often that the game will turn blander, people who do like the thing you do not like will suffer for it and the writer’s original ideas won’t shine through.

I was thinking a beta price of 12$ with a launch discount to $10.
And $15 when the whole game is done.
Patreons will still be receiving the game first and all patreons with a total pledge >= $10 get a steam code.

Thank you for stating your opinions on this controversial topic.
I do think that some slight wording changes make it feel a bit more consensual.
These changes don’t change the fact that characters have drunk a large amount of alcohol, it just makes it more clear that your love interest is still in control and not completely drunk/wasted.
Amber her events remain completely unchanged, it was pretty much only about Katrine her event which stated she was drunk(depending on you interpretation that could mean the character lost control over themselves). I think Katrine as a character is someone who is able to drink everyone under the table if it comes down to it, so to have her be “drunk” after the amount she drunk would make less sense.
The events with Katrine remain unchanged outside of these dialogue adjustments.
If people still think the event is going too far for them, I will put in a toggle to disable scenes where alcohol is consumed.

This game is great. I’ve played it sense it was released and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Something that I’ve always wanted to see is pregnancy being implemented. I understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I feel it would add some variety to the game. I don’t know if its just me but I would love to have an option where Katrine quit working out. She looks amazing don’t get me wrong but you can tell she is toned in some areas. I’ve been curious what she would look like if she did quit working out though.
The only complaint I would have is that there’s not much to do with money. I don’t know what could be implemented but I think it would be cool to be able to use it for more than just books and food.

Steam is just another storefront to advertise the game, I won’t force anyone to use steam to play the game. The game will still be downloadable on patreon and itch.
Whenever I send steam codes to all patreons it will be by connecting your itch to patreon. Then the game will active on itch and it will generate a steam code for you.
Pregnancy is coming to the game(it will be optional)
I’m not yet sure how and when I will continue Katrine but her story is heavily linked to the gym so I can’t make an option for her not to go to the gym yet.
Next update will have another way to generate money, as soon as I feel that money is generated in excess for most people is when I will start adding more stuff to spend it on.

I know the new v0.7 is quite new to Paterson but do you have a like a period of time you are going to leave it in patroon before you release it for free?

Is there a list of special events that happen throughout the game. I have just finished the v0.6 (gotten all the girls to their highest stage) and I was wondering if there is something after that.

The way the game works currently should make it so that you will not miss any special events.
There are some rng things in 0.07 like Rebecca showing up in the gym but nothing major.
But even though that is the case, I will make some kind of walkthrough in the future so people that feel lost have something to give them some guidance on what is next. Making a walkthrough will be kinda difficult though because the game is fairly non-linear, so there are multiple ways to go about it.

Thanks. And just to clarify in v0.6 once you have gotten all the girls to their max stages is there anything somewhat special after that but still in v 0.6. Last special sense for me is when Bonnie gave you the tablet to do the coop business and then making Rebecca a bunch of choclates

Currently, the girls “intro” weight stage events are the new content for the max stages other than the repeatable scenes.

Just a quick update on what will be happening the coming days.
First off, version 0.07 will be released for free on the 1st of September.
So only 8 more days to go.
Secondly, I have been working on a game for this years game-jam.
It is called The Gain Trails and I’ll release this game tomorrow.

Then after I’m done I’ll be working hard on making the next update for Fattening Career which will focus on improving the early game classroom content. You will be able to interact with other students and fattening them up.
