Just played through V0.1, I’m liking what I’ve seen so far. It was a bit confusing once I got everyone to stage 3, with some scenes implemented (most of the gym and diner) and others not (each character’s location), so I’d advise adding an “end of content” message when you try to access those instead of the more ambiguous messages that are there currently. They’re written in a way that I interpreted them as each girl appearing at random times, so I kept on showing up to an empty pool and library for no reason.
Overall though, a strong start and I’m looking forward to V0.2!

Just finished v0.1, what a great game!
I especially like how there is already a good amount of cross pollination between storylines, like you can meet everyone at the bar, and can take everyone to the diner. One failing that these types of games often have is that it feels like everyone is in their own world and never interacts with anyone besides the player, I think you avoided this issue pretty well.
I also think you hit the bullseye (at least for me) for the amount of time between weight stages, not so short that it takes you out of the story and you may forget stuff, but also not so long that it invites boredom.

I highly recommend converting all the png images into webp images it’s more storage efficient and can reduce the filesize of the game by 50% or more easily. I like to use the free batch convert tool XnConvert · Batch Image Converter | Image convert | XnView.com but many other tools exist.
you’d have to rename the files in the code but changing *.png to *.webp is an easy task

It is a good first start the game loop works okay it is fun taking to find how to unlock each girl but the pacing is slow at time where you are to sends days Reading books to unlock new things and more there needs to be more small events in-between the big one to fix the pacing problem but beside I did like the game.
ImageMagick is a great program for doing this in bulk batches, too, if you prefer to do things locally.

XnConvert is exactly that, a downloadable app that can do bulk conversions. Just be sure to change the settings so that it’s running on multiple CPU threads when doing so, by default it uses one thread and is slow when converting a bunch of images.

This is great, thanks for the heads up, should be implemented for 0.2 release today! Seems like it could shed file size to as much as 1/3 for images (especially the newer scenes with upscaling). Took the total game size for 0.2 from 3.3GB to 1.8GB.

If you’re willing to go to like 95% lossy quality it can do even better, sort of up to you. Even if you pick lossless 100% though it still saves space because it’s a newer file format.

This says you’re playing on android right? The game isn’t out on android yet, but I’m working on the android version right now and it should be ready tomorrow.
Yeah i´m sorry forgot to mention i´m on android , but i had the previous version and there was no problem with the stats than. Oh and thanks for responding so quickly.

You’re both using new save files made on 0.2 right? The only way I can see this being an issue at all is if you were using a save file made on 0.1. I can’t replicate this crash in any way

Really enjoyed the game, hoping for continued expansion! (Loved the thigh wobbles when Yuki shows off her routine to you, didn’t know you could do that in VaM!). Liking all the characters so far, not even sure which is my fav.
I also got some crashes on a 2nd playthrough (1st one worked fine), but wasn’t paying attention enough to track it down, I’ll try and find it on another play. (I thought it was just some cause I was skipping a lot of scenes with ctrl sometimes that bugs out ren’Py) (I think it was during a visit with Cat and it fell through into an unrelated Helena scene and then the crashes started in the stats screen after that, but I’ll have to check again).

How do you play on Android? I’m using joi play and it doesn’t load
Okay tested again and found 2 minor bugs
Helena’s stage 5 event triggers a 2nd time at the cafe after you feed her more (probably won’t matter when stage 6 gets added?) and this causes her stat page to crash
Visiting Cat at stage 5 skips back to title
