I already played v0.3c, but I have I question, Why Ash gain so hard? Is there a bug? Because I stuck at her stage 2 for a while.

after a bit you have to find her in a location, just cycle through each area and you’ll find her. Ash is top tier.
Do you mean I have to find her at bar or gym?
Daym, How big Ash gonna be at stage 10 or more? she’s already massive at stage 6.
Cat Stage 7 is still buggy, when you go to visit her. You find her at the café and swaps weight stages between scene’s.
Loving the update so far! But I do think its kind of weird that at larger sizes characters will suddenly not be found at their usual spot. Like Cat not being at the cafe anymore, and Renea not being at the her cafe anymore. I don’t know if thats intentionall!

The game continues to be great, and every update only makes it better. But I have just one issue, which is the ‘invite somebody over’ mechanic. It’s just kind of frustrating.
It seems like all of the girls are either available or busy at the same time, so you have your choice of all or none. At least, I believe it works this way, because any time I find one can’t come over the rest say the same thing, so I have stopped questioning more than one at a time. There doesn’t seem to be consistency to the time of day you should ask one of them over for the best chance, and I would say they’re busy like 75% of the time, sometimes the whole day. It would be nice if they had individual availability to come and let you cook for them, and for them to be free more often. I’d even say it would be preferable to have the list only include girls who can accept your invitation, unless you really like the additional dialogue of having them decline.
Adding to this is having to change your location in the apartment for it. I understand the reason is probably that the menu would have too many options if you didn’t split between upstairs and downstairs, and the kitchen seems to be downstairs as well so it makes sense in a way. But having to go downstairs before finding no one wants to come eat with you adds a stage of aggravation to being turned down by everyone most of the time.
This is a minor thing compared to how amazing the whole game has become, but I’ve been thinking about it for a few updates.

Just to ride your coattails, it’s crueler still that when they do decline your offer often they’re omitted from the list for the next few days. During the game you’re sometimes focusing on a specific girl so having her decline and disappear, when you’ve spent hard earned cash on supplies, is so inconvenient. You get into the habit of abusing the rollback function so at least you can ask again tomorrow instead of several days down the line. It would be different if they said ‘I’m on a 2 day spa trip with my friend’ and was absent from the game during that time for continuity.
I have an easy workaround for this! When you invite someone you want and they say “no”, just roll back a few slides and invite someone you don’t want instead. Then try again with the original invitee, and repeat until they say yes.
The way it’s setup, whoever you ask is either going to say yes or no regardless of the person, so it’s less dependent on the girl and more dependant on what attempt your on. For example, if Cat says yes to a visit, I can go a couple slides back and click on Kayla, knowing for 100% sure she’s going to accept.
From what I can tell, whether or not a girl is available is a simple 50/50 coin toss, but renpy saves the result when using the rollback function so it never changes if you rollback and retry. That’s why BstPitGaming’s suggestion works. An even simpler method is to just rollback before the invite attempt, quick save and then quick load so that renpy loses the saved random number and try again, quick loading again if it fails.
Honestly, I don’t know why there’s a random chance of them refusing a dinner invite at home and not at the diner.
Yeah, that’s all still a lot of work. And I swear, my 75% assessment before is generous. It FEELS like they almost never accept an invitation. I’m either extremely unlucky or the odds are worse than 50/50. But then, like you guys said, we can invite them to the diner or whatever and they’ll always go, so it feels arbitrary lol. Honestly, I think each girl should always just accept once per day. We are limited by our ingredients, money and daily actions anyway. I’d even prefer only being able to invite one of them over to feed per day if there was certainty they’d accept.
I thought this was annoying while playtesting 0.4d, and tweaked it from a coin flip to a 70% chance, the difference here was purely experimentation, because the invite is the most efficient way to progress once your cooking skill is high enough I thought the dice roll of whether you get it or not might have added something, but it was too low of a chance for sure.
I do have plans to make the girls’ availability more of a global / consistent variable at some point once the idea has been tweaked enough for the invites and the balance is enjoyable rather than frustrating, and as given with the latest update once there are even more places to go for progression it should feel less limiting.
