It looks good. I love the detail and the perspective. The wood flooring, chair, window, and bed are stand outs that look amazing. With it being a WIP I’m sure there will be plenty of changes still to come. If I had to critique something it would be the green rug (?) or carpet (?) in the middle. It might be the perspective for me but my eye had trouble fitting it in and figuring out what it was for a spilt second. So, I feel like it draws more attention than it’s meant to. But I love the look and personality of the room.
@Krodmandoon Yeah there will be more detail on the rug later on with it being a bit jarring rn but it will change and be more appealing to the eyes later on and the perspective will make more sense then lol.

Yep. Once it has a texture, the rest should work, though the next place the eye wanders to will likely be the chair (leather or cloth?) and floorboards
btw, where is the sun supposed to be outside? The lighting around the bed implies it’s somewhere behind (and above, obviously) the cupboard, but the shadows for the shelves is pointing a different direction, the bed shadow is probably too short and again, seems to disagree as well by looking like light is directly above. And all this then makes the light patch above the wardrobe more obvious.
One of the evil things about lighting is that multiple sources means multiple shadows; look irl at how the reflection from light-coloured objects (especially metal objects) in the path of the initial rays bounces light into the rest of the room. In this case, the bed, walls and floor are getting the most radiation, leading to light presumably being highest in the top-left corner. Bed reflects up, wall reflects diagonally down.
This is nitpicky but it’s also something that can really up the professional feel.

I have some good news and some bad news. Since I’m a pessimistic the bad news first, the update is only going to be like 90% done; the writing is all done but the artwork couldn’t be finished due to personal issues with woomy, so the full update won’t be released today and will be shooting for a later date. Good news is that the writing is all done and will be revised first one more time then released today later on.
Sorry again for all the complications and I hope you all understand and thank you again for your support

Thank you @FallenKing107, As so do I. I might postpone the update till tomorrow my editor hasn’t had the chance to really finish reading through it all and it might be hard to get the update done by tonight so I might hold it back till tomorrow to insure it is 100% ready.

Surprised there hasn’t been much response to your new update but I’ll give my two cents in regards to how things are shaping up. So far everything one could expect from a visual novel is present ranging from the opening monologue establishing you the main character and the people your with to the branching narratives the game offers. The manner of which things have branched off so far does feel a bit unique as if events have actually changed at times and aren’t slight variations whether that be the two mock CGs scenes or Naomi actually gaining or not. It’s fairly clear where things are headed and although some of my suggestions I had in mind are more so ‘common sense’ since you’d obviously implement them but in regards to those stuffing scenes, perhaps you could variations of that in which the first instance the max capacity is visually low but the later ones look as they’re hitting their ‘breaking points’. Aside from that, don’t know how things will look once the next update rolls but hopefully the way things are pivoted to be more open ends up being swell.
