By the way, first ever spritesheet.
If I ever decide to involve other costumes into these spritesheets, then I may make this look available to those who decide to remove the armor.
Before my weekend is officially over, here, have a quick Rhoncra too. I’ll worry about giving the characters thier clothes next weekend, but I would like to know.
Do these look good?
Before this weekend ends, I might as well give a lil look into how I plan to make the Actor Sprites, as well as what you can expect the currently available weight stages to look like (focusing on just Stages 1, 3, & 5 for now, I’ll probably add in 2, 4, & 6 as slightly altered versions of these 3 later on).
Regarding Actor/Battler Sprites, I want to sure that each animation in the sheet aligns with the character they’re portaying, ensuring the no 2 sheets will ever have the exact same animation, expect a new custom made set with all 3 characters.
Here is Lucia’s Idle & Weaponless Attack:
This 2 images will be the only time I’ll show this stuff before the demo because I know ya’ll like your WG content. But just know that these are taking direct reference from the fat artist’s drawing version of the character so I can understand how much fat I’m supposed to include in every weight stage.
Also, I’m including stat changes for every Weight Stage via parameters & switches. That part feels like organizing a bucket full of screws…mentally tiring.
(Yes I was serious, I will keep any of my future fat related images off of this page until the demo releases, which will still take some time, pixel art added more requirements)
Anyway, this image is for the START-OF-GAME STUFFING EVENT. Yes, you’re getting a 10 stage stuffing event in the beginning of the game, only featuring sprites since the fatty artist won’t have all 10 fat stage drawings finished for this demo, only 5. But I’m allowing myself to make all 10 for any indulgent stuffing events that pop up in this adventure, in which I’m thinking of only doing 1 stuffing event per chapter where this 1st event can be used at any point in your adventure where future events will be a limited time only.
The goal, when you get locked in, you must snap yourself back out quickly via the instructions I give you before activation before you hit stage 10, if you hit stage 10, the characters will become immobile and it’s game over.
I hope ya’ll like the sprites when the game gets released.
Here’s an update on how the battler sprites are going. Only Stage 1 of course, but ya’ll got lucky because one of them includes 1 frame of enforced Belly Swelling, but not too big yet.
Thx for the motivation boost, you can expect to see a different set for each character, this set is just how Lucia would perform these actions.
But it’s still a long way to go, only able to get 2 to 3 sets for the 3 major weight stages per weekend.
By the way for RPGMaker MZ, does anyone know how to move the numbers that appear when you take damage? They’re blocking the damaged animation, and so I would like to move it below the character.
OH and in case I didn’t mention it yet, last week I found a musician so now we can get some original music into the game. At thier own pace of course, I don’t try to make anyone feel rushed since nobody’s getting paid.
Wait, ui… OH, yeah that’s thx to Visustella’s free plugin, I personally would prefer Weight Gain rpgs to be more like this if they were to include multiple stages, giving us a complete look at how they’re growing instead of a close up that completely skips all the fat WE WANT to see.
This are the 2 outfits for Lucia that you can use in the 1st Demo. And it’s only these 2 for Chapter 1, but more will be on the way. Hopefully 1 per chapter for every available character.
Note: These will purely be cosmetic, so wear what ya like.
Extra Note: If ya’ll would like to include your own costumes for Lucia, Rhoncra, or Tekolay. Once the respective full character sheets are released with the game, you can create your own via pixel-art and I’ll be sure to include it in the next update as long as you send me the PNG with $ in front of the name.
All costumes put into the game will be added to the costume shop as purchasables and will be available from the very start of the game as long as you know where to find the shop.
I didn’t fully understood how the Special move animations were supposed to be used so I assumed that they were both offensive moves. But through testing I found out that the magical attacks are the offensive animation while the Physical attacks are the healing animation, so they got swapped post-creation while the “Special Magical” got a tweak to how it looks.
“Lucia - Special Prep” (mainly for the offensive side so far)
For these last 3, I only focused on doing stage 1 since I wanted to play Sonic Crossworlds’ Online tests. So next weekend I’ll focus on getting the 3rd & 5th stages of those animation sets done.
Yo, Tekolay’s getting a quick outfit redesign because I felt like her original design wasn’t western enough. So I looked up some cowgirl outfits and drew this sketch up on my phone’s notepad.
Extra Note: Tekolay’s previous outfit (alongside her original concept as a Slave-Bot defect, which I’ll remake as a crude boxy copy outfit) will be preserved as an extra outfit you can get from the costume shop (using in-game money).
Yo, I just wanted to let ya’ll know that I’m currently playing Silksong and can’t drag myself away from it for too long. I want to keep working, but right now I can’t stop playing Silksong & may not update this page for a while. Who knows, maybe a month or so. But once I’m done with Silksong I’ll be right back to working on The Mansio-O-Sin RPG Project.
Now with the low hp animation, you’ll only get to see it during the higher stages since let me remind you, hp = weight, so you’ll be around Stage 4/5 when you are low on hp, thus you’ll never get to see stage 1.
A friend showed me this, told me to only read the initial post, and then have me guess how things turned out. I was honestly not expecting things to actually start coming to fruition, much less the art glow-up from the initial sketches. Rock on dude, you’re doing great!
I HAVE DONE IT, A COMPLETE ACTOR SPRITESHEET FOR A SINGLE CHARACTER, stages 3 & 5 will be finished in the coming week, in which after next week, I’ll have a whole week off due to parent’s vacation, so I’ll have more time than usual to work after next week is done. And as I wait for my fatty artist to get through with drawing the currently 6 stages of Lucia for the menu & mirrors, I’ll also be making seperate spritesheets for the 3 outfits you’ll get to wear in the Lucia Demo. THEN AFTER THAT IT’S ONWARD TO THE BIG BUTT CHARACTER RHONCRA!!!
I also got a great plan for Prison Lard’s full release that I can’t wait to show off someday. IT’S GONNA BE GRAND!!!
By the way, would ya’ll like to add in your own outfits to the game?
Once I am confident with putting out the Ase files as a hidden thing, you’ll be allowed to create any outfit ya wish over my characters, or even recreate other characters that will take 1 of thier spots as an extra skin. Once created, all you’ll need to do is resend it through this or whatever place I start it in and I’ll give it a quick check on whether it shall be given the green light and added into the game during the next update (or in the demo release as of now). If you wish to add someone else’s character into the game as a skin, all I ask is for that creator’s permission.
The sprites for a Lucia with No Armor in Stages 1, 3, & 5 are officially done. And now Imma go on break for a bit to play another game. But once I’m done, it’s on to the next phase with putting these Lucia Actor Sprites into 3 outfits that will be findable in the eventual demo.
Here’s an update to mark the end of my week long break. Just a simple outfit showcase for how Lucia’s Everyday Workfit would look in combat. I wanted to also show off the Sorcerer Dress since these 2 are the only outfits I chose to show off earlier, but I only got the hat down so it’s currently incomplete. I’ll probably show it later at some point alongside something else. But I’ll keep the rest of my outfit ideas hidden so you can see them yourself when you unlock them in the demo.
And here’s the Sorcerer Outfit in Actor Sprite. Now Imma do the remaining outfits I want to make before the demo in privacy, they will not be shown off until the demo passes by. Once I’m done with them, I’ll return to showcase Actor Sprites for the 2nd Character, Rhoncra and repeat this cycle all over again. But I promise that before I start with her, ya’ll will be given access to the Ase Sprites of base, stripped to bare bikini, Lucia to make whatever outfit ya’ll want. Both Combat & Overworld Sprites.
So I just tried to put up a discussion page so you guys can go ahead and put up your custom outfit designs for the demo’s costume shop, but I then realized this site doesn’t support .ase sprites, so unless ya’ll would be ok with working with the pngs, you’re gonna need to wait for the demo to release to nab and alter those .ase sprites.
And about the pixel-art creator I would suggest for the non pixel art creators, LibreSprite, it’s free and easy to use as far as I remember. And if ya need help, all you’ll need to do is send a question and I’ll awnser as best I can.
And as for what I would allow, ya’ll would be allowed to do whatever ya want to do to my character sprites as long as we don’t get in trouble, you can even replace them with another if ya want to as long as they end up with the same fat focus.
Also I’m adding an Achievement plugin to my game, so ya’ll get a few things to work towards in the demo.
Progression Update: The 1st of Lucia’s 3 starting outfits is fully completed, in both Overworld & Battle Sprites.
I would like to ask? What would ya’ll want for bonus outfits? I mean what would you want to add in? And what weapon would you create for said outfits? Go wild and speak your mind.
Oh and happy Thanksgiving everyone!
