Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to finally share the very first playable version of Heavy Farm — my cozy, lewd farming sim with weight gain and feeder/fat admirer themes.
In this early build, you can:
Run a farm as a hucow and plant your first crops
Visit the café for food or work part-time
Meet unique NPCs with different personalities (Feedees, Feeders, FAs, Normals)
Gift items, gain affection, and trigger personalized dialogue
Begin your transformation journey (yes, your weight matters!)
This is an alpha version, so expect bugs, placeholder content, and missing features — but it’s a big step forward!
Let me know what you think!
Your feedback is super valuable — feel free to message me or comment with bugs, suggestions, or ideas.
So I don’t want to sound like too much of a downer about this, but my opinion is that if you’re planning a paid game but the only version you have ready would only cover the content a demo might have… just release that version for free. $7 isn’t much, but it’s asking a lot for admittedly little content, for a title from an unknown dev, which relies heavily on AI.
To be frank, the reliance on AI might also be a bit worrying. Even if it’s not my personal preference I can understand the use of AI art. But you’ve also made reference to using ChatGPT to create plugins, largely for systems that (at least from the outside) it seems can be handled with existing plugins or via the event system with no plugins at all. It raises the concern that you might not actually have an understanding of the code you’re plugging into the game, or that you might not be able to handle the increasing complexity of the web of plugins as the scope and content of the game grows.
being honest you kinda right, I do rely heavily on AI since I am a single dev. Yeah the issues you addressed regarding increasing complexity is worrying to me either since there is a bunch of plugins. But I am an IT guy and code does not worry me in particular. Regarding the price I understand but you can play my other games for free and get a feel for the games and decide for yourself. I decided to up a notch on the price since I do not have much patreon supporters once that changes I do not have a problem on releasing games at a lower price. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate aour constrctive criticism. And no this text was not written by chatgpt.
I’m interested to try the game, but you make it seem like it’s a demo version.
I don’t want to buy it just to try it just to hope the developer doesn’t quit halfway through development and never releases a full version.
So many projects have been abandoned, and I don’t want to take the risk.
So, I will wait until it is complete or there is a free version to try.
I’d argue for a free demo version as well, so people can get a feel of what they’re going to pay into for a full game. Spritewise, it looks interesting so far, but, I can’t justify buying a game for it to be unfinished and never finished.
Definitely feels like a scam. No pictures, no demo, and add to that a “heavy” price tag of a few dollars for an alpha of game that uses AI for visuals.
my next plan is adding farming mechanics, but I guess there will be no quests, story or even dungeon. Focusing on Life and Farm Sim, I plan on adding features that are fun and help gameplay. In terms of gameplay hours thats a good question. I think 10 or even 20 hours is my goal.
