Where do I go next after the mermaid king?
He just keep telling me to check on his people but there is no change.
Or do I have to restart from the beginning? Some game does needed that after an update sometimes

If that’s the case, try giving food to the Mermaid King when he’s just before the final stage and talking to him again. This should probably change the conversation of the other mermaids.

There are several characters whose story will be easier to understand if you talk to them again immediately after giving them food.

feed main character every day until bed breaks then look into mirror

How do we feed the protagonist?

Use the items from your inventory, then go to sleep. After a couple, you should get fatter. The fat medicine should bring you immediately to the ending, though.
