To be fair this is how real life works in general for most things. Most people that venture to do something fail at it. Opening a business, inventing a new product, starting a new project, writing a book, launching a streaming or Youtube channel, etc. Many things that people try to do and accomplish end up with them not completing, releasing, or succeeding at them.
The thing with small indie game development is that there is a high visibility for such unsuccessful attempts with a low bar to entry as anyone can try with varying degrees of success. With next little to no contractual obligations, NDAs, and publisher demands, that sometimes tie up things from ever getting put out in the first place, a niche indie dev, especially in the fetish space, may often release something to get a feel for an idea. And based on feedback and reception may choose to further continue development. Some people just need motivation to continue working on something as this is the first go at doing something like this and as people, we all crave validation for our efforts in our everyday lives.
A lot of people like that are working on something in their off time from life and a main job and things like motivation, knowhow, development costs, or real life get in the way of successfully “completing” something or successive updates. Thus, you see plenty of projects started but not finished, but like I said, this is the same everywhere. You just don’t normally see the attempts people make at things they do like you can on the internet with an always persistent record.

You should add and even check out for yourself Fatgeria. It has gameplay that you can choose to turn on and off and the dev team is currently working on the next update. The dev even started a weight gain drive on DeviantArt and Twitter for this beautiful girl of royalty. You can find everything here along with update posts/chatting in the forum.

Np, there is a little shill in all of us, waiting for its time to shine. I also played it for a bit and found it very interesting so far. I will say one major complaint is that while selecting on which asset for descriptions to focus on is a neat concept on paper, it kind of backfires in play when you are forced to only focus on one aspect of the female body, especially since it is a text game relying on descriptions alone. I you really want the one assets aspect, I would recommend adding it so that players can toggle which body parts gets described or not. It wouldn’t even have to make entirely separate descriptions, just add on top the already existing ones for the appropriate stages. I very much look forward to see where you go with this one.

which is mostly true, in reality it is more than I would like to put in at this time while I’m still working on Act 2 and finishing Act 1 properly
