Spam feed the girls boxes of macarons and onion rings to basically never run out of affection. If you’re worried about running out of time for certain events by making them too fat, too quickly, you gain +2 affection every day if you just click on them while they’re in the same location as you.
Now I’m imagining @BarbieGirl with one of those grocery list notepads visiting all her girls, poking each a single time in the arm with her finger, making a check mark, and immediately leaving for the next building.
Anyone got some tips on how to fatten the store girls
I left this as a review on itch.io but I realize that maybe it would make sense to post here as well. I’ve been playing this game since July of last year so I’ve seen it come a looooong way since then. What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said about this masterpiece? The muses must have been playing harps with fat strings the day that CringeIndeed decided to create this game. The art is far and away the best aspect to the game as the girls are all absolutely adorable and gain weight in completely different distributions. Rebecca’s weight gain… c’est magnifique. The description flavor text on body inspections during stuffing sessions are also truly inspired. The music, sound and UI are all either great or serviceable but I know that some aspects are certainly WIPs, such as the phone notification menu for meetups being fundamentally broken.
I’m going to preface this part of the critique knowing full well that this is still early access and that the game is still tirelessly being worked on. So some of these pending criticisms I’m sure are already outmoded. I’d say honestly the facet of this game that needs the most work is menus. I know, for example, that you said that you animated the weight gain history chart, but there have been several times where when the menu opened, despite it being weeks and weeks in game time at this point, the graph line hung at the 0 plot point and never moved. Or perhaps the most infuriating menu idiosyncrasy I ran into was the fact that in the memories sub menu, there is supposed to be an event between the MC and Sophia when they’re both at stage 6. You’d assume weight, right? Wrong. I had to comb through the code to actually figure out why the event wasn’t showing up. It’s stage 6 for the MC’s ass, not overall weight! Which as of the public release, there is no UI element that informs the player of that kind of minutiae that I know of. I had to once again go into code to see that certain descriptors are supposed to demark what stage the player is at in different sections of her body, but was never made clear which one was which! Then, even after all of that rigamarole, the event still never appeared once I got the MC’s ass to stage 6 and Sophia to stage 6 as well. I idled for days in game trying to get it to show, but it sadly never did.
Also, please, for the love of all things holy, please put in a mechanic that allows us to get the girls to lose weight! Not because I want them thinner, mind you, but so it doesn’t require save scumming and building a Pepe Silvia tier chart to see all of the girl’s events! I spent several hours just drafting up a Google spreadsheet so I could optimize a playthrough that encompassed all of the shared events. It entailed having to revert saves since there were no ways to reliably get the girls to drop some weight to revert some of their stages. There are certain events that are paradoxical to others that means you can’t see all of the content this lovely game has to offer and I think that’s a crying shame. Such as Rebecca needing to be stage 3 and Mia stage 1, and simultaneously Rebecca needing to be stage 2, Mia stage 2, and Sherry to be stage 2. It just can’t be done!
The other headache is that some girls passively gain weight so quickly, that you can’t see all of their individual events at the different locations before they balloon up to their next stage. The last three stages of Ashley and Riley were especially bad with this as the amount of weight they gain from their individual events means you factually can’t see them all in one playthrough. Though honestly some girls even without doing their events will still progress to new weight stages without any player intervention. Mia, Sherry, and Ashley being the worst offenders. Though Sophia and Lucy in their later stages also kept ballooning up without my hand in it (which I admit was hot, but annoying).
Also, I’m a bit on the fence about the addition of the table for stuffing sessions as it blocks the bellies. Which part of the appeal for those sessions for me was watching the girls expand as it progressed further and further and some of that gets taken away if you have to click inspect in the middle of it to see if the 20 weight gain shakes you funneled into Rebecca’s mouth has had an effect. Maybe have the girl stand to the side of the table?
Apologies for all of the criticisms, but with everything else so lovely and luscious I figured that maybe some of this might prove valuable to you if you ever decided to read this dry wall of text.
Admittedly, these are trifles compared to the overall gameplay and art which is excellent.
I stay by my opinion that the game needs a way to view events without having to aim specifically for these stage requirements, e.g. by unlocking them in the gallery after both girls reach their respective stage requirement for that event, even if one is already a stage ahead. Perhaps same with missed events for weight stages that passed too quickly, though here a speed rebalance would do fine as well.
I really appreciate how quick the gains are; nothing turns me off faster from a game than a massive clickfest slog to get 5 lbs of weight gain. Please don’t overcomplicate the gameplay and keep up the great art!
I think your comment is meant for Feeder Simulator, since you mention Cat and dream sequences, but this is the wrong thread XD
Yup. I am an idiot. Didn’t realize where I was posting. I’m so so sorry.
@Cringe_Indeed Hey, so glad to see that you’re still updating the game and I hope this continues for a good while because its pretty hard to deny that this is one of the greatest games in this space currently. I looked recently at the patreon and saw that 0.9 is on the horizon, I want to subscribe to your patreon so I can support you but most of the posts are spoilers for new stages etc. I would really want to see these for the first time in game so is there a way for you to put spoiler blurs over these posts or is there a way for me to blur these posts on the patreon? Idk if this is silly but I hope someone has a solution, please let me know!
Please keep up the hard work, this is truly a phenomenal game.
I get the confusion though, both threads now have 0.7 in their titles
