The gingerbread book and the bag of holding gives you double the amount of cards it should give you and if your opening hand is full, the excess is shuffled into you draw pile. If you have the bottomless teacup equipped, your opening hand will start with a random card generated from the teacup.

losing a small amount of HP for cards/energy/strength saves you way way more … so basically no downside.


I somehow don’t think my relics are meant to trigger that many times ( I can scroll down for quite a while of just them looping before it ends). Not sure if its related to busted weight or something, I notice probably because of that triggering last two fights have taken a bit of time to load

Also did proliferated blessing get buffed? I think it used to cost 3 energy but now cost 0 when I see it as a reward. If so that’s very cool (I’m dumb I had the relic that made first power cost 0).

Not sure if its intentional to but entralled blessing resets its fullness when upgraded and doesn’t track its fullness in deck viewer.


Trying to hit decline also brings up the message softlocking it, i closed the game re-opened it and got an event that doesn’t exist? about squeezing through a passage. Re launching a third time luckily fixed it by rerolling a different event.

Got hard stopped on an incredible run by this floor four encounter with infinite resistance… why cries

the Arachne encounter ends after eliminating all her webs. You just have to end the turn once you have done that. So, your run has not ended yet. XD

Entralled blessing will reset the satiety after upgrading. This is intentional.

Thank you for all of your support and report! I uploaded v1.0.3 and v1.1.3 today, which should have fixed all bugs that are reported.

In the next significant update, one of the important goals is to balance existing cards and enemies. I would like to hear from community to gain a comprehensive view. Please let me know if you are not satisfied with difficulty of specific enemies.

as it has been said in previous posts block cards tend to be relatively uselles in the end game. since your health is so high and there are so many ways to heal. high Weight with “belly slam?” is also a really strong strategy making other methods of damage not as viable, especially with the high health polls of the enemies in later stages. And to end having a way to know how to get the endings would be good since with only a name it becomes difficult to understand how to get them

English 1.0.3 version is bugged. No option to start the game once loaded in. I checked CN and it works properly, but I can’t read it so I can’t use CN of course. Tried reinstalling and running as Administrator but each time I open the game it just opens to this blank screen.

It seems that your game is stuck at a meaningless passage. It was my fault that I did not add an emergency button. Now I set the “give up” button accessible permanently, but my Internet connection sucks. It just won’t upload to itch and patreon until just now. You can download the fixed version now.

My favorite part of the new update is that I can no longer get relics from chests so I have to go every run without any help.

Also, what enemies got “balanced” because the only thing I noticed was act 2 elites were actually harder. Act one enemies that effectively take double turns STILL exist and getting hit with the 4 slime is basically GG unless you have any amount aoe. Which is another problem, AoE is this game sucks. In StS its lightly balanced around dealing slightly less damage than main attacks - in this; it costs more and does way less damage and doesn’t fit into any of the builds due to the sheer length of most of the fights.

Also please please please please, full heal between acts or turn the map generation into actual StS style because starting an act at 70% life then having 6 fights in a row with no fire is basically a reset.

Now HP will restore to 100% after boss fight.

The balance of enemies will be done in next significant version, which means it is not even started yet. There is no reason that could make act 2 elites harder. We will take your advice into consideration while making decisions on balance.

sometimes when you overkill an enemy while it has thorns and you use Blessing: Agility (at overstuff active) or spinning blade you might ko’ed yourself.

sometimes when your hand is overfilled from overdrawing and then use overstocked and active its effects, you may not be able to draw the card you picked.

Dragonication curse stacks with itself, so you could go over 100% fullness lost.

Distorted curse doesn’t seem to shuffle the dazed card into the draw pile when triggered.

I just want to say that usually, I’m not into those gimmicky games where the only feature is the character gaining weight. That kind of stuff doesn’t interest me at all.
But I got curious with this one, and I actually think it’s really good.

If I had to give one personal criticism, it would be about the narrative text. To be honest, I don’t read ANY of it.
I gave it a try at first, since you start by shaping the character for some bonuses based on her personality, but I quickly found the text around it very empty.
Even the attack action box text, I don’t bother reading it.
Like, I don’t know… I just feel like it lacks identity, and I end up thinking “why even read this?”
What I enjoy in WG stuff is seeing the girls react to their weight gain, that’s one of the main reasons I stick to Visual Novels.
Maybe instead of making the girl just an avatar, she could become a real character with her own narrative goal in the dungeon?
Just something light to give a bit of context and make the traps or boss fights more fun.

As for the gameplay, I love it. The combos are fun and well-designed. Honestly, it’s a very solid RPG.
Some cards feel slightly unbalanced, especially the ones that deal damage based on your weight, but it’s nothing serious.

RIP my build based around staying close to the starting weight by doing a lot of aerobic and anaerobic exercise and having a million strength while getting block from relics. I thought I was going to be able to take you to the end.

*I’m not being serious, obviously. This is a good game.

Cool game, any way to scale up the ui size? (I’m on 1440p display could be why)

I’m trying out the 1.0.3 version. The ui is still very small and unreadable. The bottom line on the card image intersects and crosses out the first line of the card effect.

On this run, I seem to not be discarding my hand or losing block at the start of my turn. I started with the lust curse and the pandora’s box relic.

Also, I would suggest adding a save/load button for the people who play on the .html file and not the .exe

Edit: Made it up to the floor 4 gluttony dragon boss on this run. But the combination of 1200 hp, 80 damage per attack, stealing food, and most relics not working past turn 1 was too much of an obstacle.
