i’ve been on this site for a while posting and comenting on and off but i’ve never tried anything until now. i present to you MIRROR an erotic visual novel with a side dish of match the colors combat and its twin brother MIRROR MAKER an editor and visual novel maker that uses the engine and mechanics. its very well built and its easy to learn, everything is relatively easy to use and edit however…it has a major flaw i have not been able to figure out.
this is a “portrait” its an animated sprite that bounces and moves. it represents the character is talking too and its fucking hell.
no matter what i do i can’t find what type of file they are or where to find it.
the files that appear in the default scripts with the characters is not present on the files the player can edit to add backgrounds character icons effects and icons.
now a comparison with a newly created script you can start from 0
ive seen other people figure it out and use static images as portraits but i still have to figure it out myself. none of them are able to help me since…they speak chinese and havent connected in years, i tried checking out steam guides to no avail.
the point is: im trying to find help to make this program work. with it i believe people can make very accesible visual novels with whatever fetish you may want. so yea…any help?
