My writing definitely isn’t the strongest, so I wouldn’t be against it! There should be a link to the discord somewhere on the WG wiki page if you wanted to join that, I can set up a text chat dedicated to writing related stuff

another smaller update today:
-added button in inventory to enable or disable mobile controls
-added bunny race
-added 3 new hairstyles
-updated visuals for cat ears
-fixed a minor bug with weight animation

quick update:
- Added first Caith NPC: Beatrice
- Tried to write something that isn’t completely terrible.
- Beatrice events are still WIP so expect some jankiness.
- added new food item: puff shroom.
- accidentally added in test NPC, will remove in next update.

small update today, polished up the event system a little bit, and improved beatrices event. also added a new biotype with dog ears and a dog tail.

Big UI update today. I’m swamped with work and school at the moment, hence the lack of updates the last 2 weeks. Hoping that I can have the next update out sooner, but I’m planning a full revamp of the body system to help with implementing clothing so it may take some time.
- massive UI revamp
- new UI bits
- a lot of new placeholder stuff for near future updates.
- NAAVI redesigned
- character creation revamped
- probably added new bugs
*note: mobile controls are in their own tab in the main game now. no need to turn them on or off anymore.

I am having issues with getting past the load screen, I am using an android phone and the loading screen on the website only gets to about a thrid of the way full before it seems nothing happens or is this a thing where I am not waiting long enough

The game should only take a few seconds to load at most. I don’t have access to an android phone to test, but the itch page and my website both work on my iphone. It could be the age of the phone? I’m not entirely sure, sorry. If you don’t mind sharing what phone you’re using I can try and look into it and see what the issue might be.
It was incognito mode that was the issue

New update is out now! It took a lot longer than I’d planned, I got stuck trying to get clothing to work on the body system and it drained every bit of motivation i had.

I have a question, will full body inflation be added to the game?
if i can figure out a way to add it using the current body system then i’m all for it, but right now im not sure if i can

a little late getting back on this but it was due to me updating godot to 4.6. the input text boxes has their functions changed slightly and it was throwing errors. I will have it fixed for the next update!

I finally managed to get a proper save/load system working!
I’m hoping to get a system working to have player and character face portraits going for the next update.

Saving and Loading is now a thing! Right now only one save file but I’ll add a feature to have more files in the future. Saves are backwards compatible for the most part, but if I change anything around the characters things will start to break.

Drinking from the tree gets you stuck in a loop of only being able to drink. The stop option also drinks.

The stop action does stop eventually, it’s more of a “your greed takes over” type thing, it’s just a percentage chance, I’ll definitely make that more clear in the next update
