Well… I run into a problem with with the wg sprite… I am not great at it… i want to pay someone who good at it. but it cost 150 to make them. 300 if i add obese… I need a job or start sell the game..
If the game making you cost then I suggest to sell the game, maybe a small price that you think it is acceptable. In my opinion, I don’t want a developer to have financial or health problems by making a game. Just try what you think it is best for you to do.
I know I played a few RPG Maker games in here where they made the character from thin to hugely obese or massive. Maybe also check with them if they want to do commissions or collaboration.
ok I’m just overthinking because I do want to try to make the character fat… but making the belly is the hard part to me… sounds stupid, doesn’t it?
I don’t think is stupid. I understand the feeling of desiring to make the the character the way you want. There are always going to be obstacles in the creation of a game. You just have to take one step at a time. While you can’t make them fat, you can do the other stuff like continue programming the game and literature and then later design it.
That’s my opinion, I’m also trying to make a game but since I’m bad at drawing, I’m leaving the design for later and continue the programming which I think is the thing I do best and also literature which is also my weakness jajaja.
Either way, there are people here who can offer to help by giving advice or suggestions. Just try not to overdo it.
I 100% agree with ghost. Work around the parts you don’t have and put placeholders in, then, when you have the money/skills/time, you add the missing parts. It’s what I do with my games.
ok but I make it cheap for my game. cost a dollar, collaboration be hard… i doubt the person parnash will agree do a collaboration with me
I think that fair, at least $1 to cooperate doesn’t sound bad. I remember two games where there’s belly character sprite. One of them is Re;Roundbound: gaining for a goddess.
The second one I don’t remember the name, since my laptop got damaged I couldn’t found the game again. I remember that the character has a castle and on the left side there was a slime farm where you help the farmer to eat it, you can go to the forest, every enemy you defeat you had the option to eat them. If I don’t get confused, that one has massive sprites that the character were massive. Sorry I can’t tell you the name of this one.
I remember, is Project F.A.T.
Hey you know how i set up a quest log, I am thinking of set up one for people have something to do.
It’s a plugin you need to buy and install.
of course… what i don’t need to buy
Actually, correction (since I went to check), it’s part of the free bundle from Yanfly Engine Plugins:
thank you, I need these for the pile of quests i need to make for the people
Well, I am set up for a few quests in the future… but I am nervous because I worry I might screw up on the quest log part. I been rewatch the video of YEP.152 - Quest Journal System a few times now to get it.
I just made an update. Now there is a quest to play. And one of the girls is a secret character. might unlock a hidden cutscene in the missions

….not really… just the cover image I use is ai but not the game it self….
Well I can’t post my game on itch beause the 1gb limit so i post it on pateron. Luck it free
Holy cow, why is the file size so huge?
You can cut the game size by about half by removing the RPG Maker MZ installer from the plugins folder. Also, your Windows builds are somehow being shipped with the entire MacOS (game.app) folder and the Linux nw libraries bundled in; I don’t know how you managed that so I can’t give advice on fixing it, but it’s causing the Windows download to be twice the size of everything else.
The total size of the game probably shouldn’t be more than 500-600MB, even accounting for the hour-long music file in the BGM folder.
Wait, there’s an hour long BGM file? Which is it? I can try getting a shorter loop for it.
