Hi Key quick question, you mention that people who brought the steam version would get the first paid content update for free, how will that work to verify that someone brough it to give them the update?

hi. the game starts successfully, it is possible to pass the menu with a choice of options (skip battles, music, etc.), after which a screen appears with “press space to start” after which a black screen remains and nothing happens.
System: Linux
P.S. in hopes of solving the problem, I disassembled the application and launched it with the sdk version of nwjs, but there are no error messages in the logs in devtools

While I admit out of all the female cast Galina is… Most likely to entertain this idea… Man is it hard to come up with a bigger OOC moment.
I don’t even know how this may occur naturally.
I’m currently thinking of just DMing me a screenshot of your library where the game is installed (assuming it was bought 2 weeks ago/played at least 2 hours) and me sending the link for the MEGA folder back. Sadly, this idea is not fool-proof and is quite easy to abuse (just do some picture editing and the free update is yours). But while I was writing this I think I came up with a slightly better idea: I can make your Steam user id be displayed in-game, so taking a screenshot of it will likely weed out all the scammers.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to go through all the trouble of downloading the game just for a single screenshot (even if it weighs just 1 GB) you can probably write a small review like “Good game” or something. Preferably without adding “damn boys Galina do be fat” lol.
As I said in the first message of the thread, I don’t really want to mix the audiences of ordinary players with the architects. I’m not ashamed of being found out I do “mods” like this one, but consider this:
- Fatgeria currently has, and will have, literal porn. While the original version has none, and is labelled as such
- As the time goes on, there will be more fetish content and it will be harder to ignore/miss it. Even now basically all the players who’ve dated Galina brought her to stage 2 or 3 of weight gain in original version. This isn’t really something that adds to the game experience if you are not into it.
- All it takes to find the alternative CGs/Sprites is opening a folder called “images”, which anyone can do and be barraged with hundreds of fetish-oriented pictures unconsented.
I’m probably writing too much on this issue, so I will wrap this up. I’m glad to make these updates for you guys, but I would still prefer to keep the Progeria and Fatgeria as two separate entities. I’ve come to terms with probably getting a reputation of a porn creator in the future, but I want both games to be enjoyed for what their original purpose is.
But, as I previously said, all the Steam players will receive the next update for free, so everyone still gets their money worth!
Damn these Linux and Mac ports will surely be the end of me 
I don’t have a PC with these systems, so I guess my only way out is installing VMs and testing the games on them, which is no easy task as I barely have any knowledge on Linux and none on Mac. I hope I will be able to fix these issues in the future, but I can’t even give any promises on it.

Well, im trying the update and found some bugs like you cant complete valerias request cuz one feather became impossible to pick.
Also after going with georgy to make ashes the game kinda frozen like doesnt loads properly and you cant see the hub, and if you are unlucky you have to restart de game.
at the begining when you dont have enough time, in the hub you have a message in russian.
you cant help Evengy in the tournament cuz the games frozens forcing you to restart and losing some progress

Also, by “helping Evgeny in the tournament” do you mean his quest where you have to win 3 different battles while playing as him?

I could probably take 1 more extra day to make sure everything works great, but I understand the importance of weekends. So, yeah, in a shit-case scenario I’ll be late and blasted by a nuke, but I am really busting my ass off trying to finish the update today.
Also that feeling when your game is just a little over the file size limit for Itch, so you have to learn some obscure software to upload the game there…

Damn, dudes, I’m quite exhausted. I know I still have some time left but I don’t think I can carry on much longer without sleep. I’ve been working a lot over the weekends but it was not enough. Having to patch out bugs from 1.04 also didn’t help (this one is done, but I will release the fix with the paid patch). I’m sorry. I’m going to rest and try to release the 1.1 tomorrow. Perhaps this will also lead to a better quality and less bugs, because I’ll let my team do the testing over the night.

Your health and rest always comes first, don’t overwork yourself just to meet some arbitrary deadline. We’re very used to projects taking a while to complete, there’s no need to push so hard.
That said… whenever I go on an a date with Valeria it triggers the fight with Georgy to win over Galina (at least I think that’s the context? Not that far in the story yet lol). I’m at the minimum affection level to date Valeria and the maximum affection with Galina, and on the day after getting kidnapped and fighting my clone in case any of that is important.
