so colour me curious, how many weight stages do you have planned for each at this point?
(making allowances that you may wanna add more in the future, of course)

I’m not sure yet how far I’ll go, but I think most girls will go through 8 stages, maybe more ![]()
good good, plan for that, see how you feel after all’s said and done, the biggest killer for anything is good ol’ scope creep. It’s been the cause of many of a “on hiatus, presumed gone” for many a thing here.
Yeah, I know, I’m saddened by the fact that a couple of interesting projects in this community were never completed for one reason or another, but had a big potential. However, this project will have an ending, perhaps even this year, and then I will work on new projects
At the risk of sounding pretty dense, how do I play this in english? Tried downloading 0.2 but it’s all Russian so I’m a bit lost. Probably missing something obvious but figured I’d post. Looking forward to playing it!
You need to go into the settings and change the Language. the word “English” will be near the top right on the settings screen in English, and the settings are the second from the bottom of the main menu if I remember correctly. If I didn’t, you’ll need to look through the menus randomly, that’s how I originally found it.
Sorry, there was a mention in the post before (when was V0.1), but I accidentally deleted it when update the post and forgot about it. So, Настройки - English (for those who come after)
Will you be making it available on Mac?
Yep - super obvious once you know where to look! Cheers for the help!
I don’t have a Mac and can’t test it there, but Google drive doesn’t have a Mac version?
I compiled for Linux, Windows and Mac, and uploaded, but will if you explain to me what’s wrong I’ll try to help.
Assorted bugs and comments:
When I hold CTRL to skip, I end up at the first message I haven’t read, instead of the last message I have read.
“How happy we are to” is odd English. Should be “We’re so excited to” or similar.
“He’s gradually getting into the team” doesn’t make sense on Jason’s first day. Maybe “He’s just started” or “It’s his first day”.
Character menu: The line “Until stage n: x/y kg” is a little confusing. “Until” is for differences and distances, like “5 miles until Chicago” or “20 minutes until gametime”. The x in the fraction is redundant with the line below. How about calculating y-x and displaying (for example) “5.9 kg until stage 2”? Also, the close button blends in with the character names. What if you put it on top of the list in a different color?
“He’s showing himself well as an employee” sounds translated. I’m sorry, I don’t have a suggestion for this one.
“Danochka“ as a nickname for “Dana”. To me, the nickname has a strong Russian flavor, but the rest of the game doesn’t at all, so it feels jarring. Another approach you could take is use Russian names for all or most of the characters.
“I finally took myself in hand“ The phrase in English is “I finally got a hold of myself”.
“feel free to use “you” with me.“ I think in the English release this line should be skipped. There’s a sort-of similar thing where we invite people to call us by our first name instead of last name or professional title, but for cultural reasons we pretty much do that right away, and many people drop titles without being invited.
“10 hour(s) left until the end of the day” Display “hour” or “hours” as appropriate.
One time I bought pizza for the office and Dana gained “7.999999999999999“ addiction. Remember to round your floats for printing (and maybe round the actual value too)!
Going to the store - better to take out the “You return to the office” line and black screen. The player already knows and expects to return, and there’s no flavor/interest in that screen.
In general, I think the game tells the player too much about the stats and how they work, or at least says it too soon. Maybe explain one of the progression systems (stage, relationship, or addiction), then wait until the player advances any of them a level, then explain a second, wait for another advance, then explain the third.
Speaking of: If I push a character’s addiction and weight, but neglect relationship, do I see anything I don’t see if I push all three? What about high relationship but the other two low? In other words, are there “paths”?
When Alice reaches stage 3 and tells the player she doesn’t like it, the player can offer her a soda at the very next chance and she just has her usual pleased response. She should be upset and cost relationship points instead, until she makes peace with gaining.
Hey! Thank you very much for detailed feedback.
I was already aware of a lot of this, like the 7.9999… (a purely technical error due to the specifics of the code and multipliers; I’ll try to fix it in the future).
But I’ll listen to a lot of it and take it into account in the future.
Regarding Danochka, it’s a diminutive of Dana, but I won’t be correcting it because in 0.3 is planned to have a slightly more Russian flavor, and there will also be a character with a Russian name.
Regarding “feel free to use ‘you’ with me,” that’s actually something I forgot to remove
I’m initially writing the story in Russian, and as a Russian, it was difficult for me to write in such a way that some newbie aged 20-25 addresses an adult woman informally on the first day they meet.
Regarding the cola on Alice’s day in Stage 3, I wanted to make this system a little more in-depth. For example, on Lisa’s day in Stage 4, if you order pizza, Lisa won’t be there, but I didn’t have time to think through all the details.
Thanks again, I’ll try to take that into account in the future.
Upd: about paths (sorry for ignoring earlier).
Rel lvl influences on dialogues, and at the moment in game this is a not very important characteristic, unless upgrading this char at Dana’s this is upgrade a multiplier of addiction. Also, rel level influences on phrases, which girls say to you when you talk with them. I know, this is a little, but in the future this will be more important.
Add lvl influences on a lot of things for main gameplay. I think you already know that the higher the addiction level, the bigger the dinners she can get, and in the future (even in 0.3), it will have an even greater effect throughout the game. Essentially, this stat is important if you want to speed up the fattening of girls.
At the moment, leveling up the relationship stat is really not necessary, except that certain relationship levels unlock small random events in the game. It’s advisable to level up the addiction stat both to speed up the gameplay and for special events (like shopping with Lisa, which unlocks at addiction level 3 or 4).
I’m planning a lot of updates, and different aspects of the game will develop, just maybe not all at once. Relationships, for example, are simply not a top priority for me, so there’s not much going on, but there will be progress in this area as well. And if I answer your question, did you miss something if you didn’t improve your relationships, something global… no.
