P*kem*n Lard: A fatty centric P*kem*n region (QoL UPDATE!!!!!)

So, why are people that heal up with items after battle getting punished because the person making this game counter heal stalling?

I know it’s a trainer type put in as a joke, but are they a smogon type?

From my impression I gather that the lead dev is a hyper-comp type: IE they thought the First gym’s ace having Flamethrower (With a held Charcoal item) was completely fine. Until enough people raised a stink about it. This is why we’re getting massive level spikes, this is why we’re getting restricted on healing items… TLDR we’re just supposed to ‘get gud’ to his level.

I am. Skill issue

(In all seriousness - I have been trying to make the game a lot easier for everyone. I don’t want to make the game stupidly easy, you should at least have to think to progress, but in particular the QoL update lowered the level curve and made all pokemon level up considerably faster, and there are multiple exp shares to use. I won’t be changing the movesets of gym leaders more, but changes to levels are probably in line. Additional repels and either nurses to heal mons for free or potions outside of battle are probably on the way. Additionally, an actual tutorial on the new types is definitely in order.)

I know it seems lame to make the game easier, but the way the game is now, I think I could have unlimited healing items and it wouldn’t make a difference, all it would do it make it so my exp grinding is slightly faster. Personally, I don’t mind the game being difficult and having a good amount of strategy to it, but there are a lot of cool things to spend money on in the latest town and I’ve bought so many potions to save time on running back/forth to full heal my team while grinding wild pokemon.

I do, however, think that having a tutorial on the new types would be great because having it just be trial and error is super punishing if you get it wrong (past level 15).

question? where do I find the the save files for the game also how do I tweak the shiny rate correctly

The shiny rate is set to 1/500. There is no way to tweak it.
The save files are in apdata, they transfer automatically though

If anyone was wondering if they should wait to evolve Gloom, it learns Petal Dance at level 50, while it just learns Petal Blizzard upon evolution. SInce this mon has a better Special Attack, I recommend going with Petal Dance if you’re willing to wait that long. You could also run a more stall-ish set with Giga Drain, Toxic, Moonlight, and Grassy Terrain.

Does anyone know how to evolve steenee?

Not gonna lie, I always kinda liked the idea of a mon-tamer centered around big, fat, intimidating characters, but looking through the dex, a lot of the monsters are kinda ungainly and disproportionate. I wouldn’t mind seeing more round and proportionate designs.

How does the protagonist gain weight in the game?

beat the gym leaders, then eat the food they give you in key items

can you be more specific? trying to edit mine to make it easier (mostly infinite money so I can spam HP potions too) but I can’t find my save files in AppData, all I see is a Pokemon Essentials folder but there’s nothing besides a “GAME.rx data” in there.

That is the save data

how do I edit it? specifically my money that is.

To be honest, I have no idea. I just use the typical save editor website but those use the standard .sav files rather than this more encrypted one, so I don’t know if it works with that

I just got to Shoresville and have no clue how to continue. I went to the Gym and was told to walk up steps, but nothing more. Also I can’t enter the House on the bottom left. Please help, I would be Grateful.

question, will there be a “immoible/blob” stage for the character?
just asking
