My last crash happened trying to check areas in the pokedex
Not anymore there isnāt! Shouldāve read the text more closely, now no one gets to have it!
HOWEVER. it wonāt matter much for reasons Iāll discuss in a lower down post.
This is genuinely completely justified, in the next version weāre working on fixing crashes, and a completely new and improved leveling curve has been implemented, and this one has actually been tested by multiple people this time! In theory, if you have a well crafted team, you wonāt need to do any additional grinding between gyms, but if your team is kind of bad you may need to do a little bit.
As for the crashes mentioned here and the regions area of the pokedex, the cultist events and pokemart have been fixed and now the ultraspace event is actually accessible. Yay! I think the pokedex regions crash has also been fixed, but donāt quote me on that, I believe Lupus fixed it but I havenāt tested it yet.
You arenāt gonna suggest we make our own SMOGON like group, are you?
Because when I play pokemon itās more for the exploring than ultra-hard difficulty
spoilerydoos
Anyways, as for where it is, since I seemed to have ruined the only way to get a decent amount of cash in game, after you get out of the train, move all the way to the little crop on the upper right hand side
had that happen too with the shower lady. the screen was black and I couldnāt move in any direction, though I seemed to be in a 1x1 room with a map on the south wall that could be interacted with. really weird
The desert temple seems bugged (described below)
The first floor seems okay, though like a āpuzzleā that can only be solved by trial and error.
The second floor though is where things get weirdā¦ The bottom right pile of gold has a weird glitching red background that also appears above the map when I stand at certain positions. They also all just say either correct or wrong when I take some gold. This doesnāt look intended
I got a surf ability the natural way, so not sure if itās meant to be used for transportation at all, but some waters can be surfed on and some not. But no matter where I went surfing, there were never any pokemon attacking me.
A mode of transportation would be nice, especially with how the seashore shop is broken
Ngl I might keep it in anyways. Maybe. Weāll see how merciful Iām feeling, Iām kind of surprised it took this long if anything. However, with that said, obtaining money is another thing the next public build seeks to fix. And no, a Smogon-like community is not at all necessary to play through the game, by a well made team I mostly just mean generally choosing pokemon with complementary types and stats, nothing too crazy, and by extra grinding I mean overleveling very slightly, the difficulty in the dev build as is has been drastically reduced, and I tested every gym with underlevelled strong teams, on par decent teams, and a slightly (1-4) overlevelled poor team, and have heard from others that the requirements for beating them are similar.
This glitch has been fixed in the dev build, so itāll be working fully the next public one that is released.
As for the temple, I really have no idea whatās going on with the red squares, I wasnāt the one that set up the puzzle. There is actually a way to solve the puzzle involving the gold piles that isnāt trial and error, it does work, just pay attention to the outside of the temple (If Iām remembering correctly - I donāt have time to go back and check right now).
Surf is not really intended to actually be used in the overworld. I think I disabled it in the dev build, but Iāll check again and fix it if not before posting the next public one. Fly is now unlocked after gym 2, at the bog research center.
if only I had fly .-.
minor sugestion add a way to just warp around the map with ease so backtracking wont be a pain
Finally, fly, itāll make getting back to town to heal or buy stuff a lot easier
Koffing/Weezing can learn fly naturally
Iāve fought the 2nd badge gym leader and does anyone know where Iām supposed to go?
Thereās a cave guarded by some trainer to the south of the city. They say something about keeping you out until more content is added or something, but you can ignore that
How can i find the secret to get the starter i want?
theres a door in the top left corner of the lab where you get the starters. In there is the dream machine wich you can use to get any first stage pokemon with evos that has less than a 500 stat total if i remember correctly
Just putting this here, if youāre about to play the game, I might wait a little while, since the next update is nearing completion at this stage and has a complete overhaul of the levelling curve to make it more fair.
Thank you for your hard work.
