Will the player character gain weight too or is it just the Pokemon?

It is currently planned for the player to gain weight, optionally. It will likely be a setting you can turn off and on.

A Rooster Kobab who can take the form of a jet to zoom across the skies at high speed to SKEWER prey before they knew what hit them. Planned to be very fast, very physically strong, but OH so frail.

sounds like the stats will be similar to kartana but even more extreme. hehehe

Well in comparison with the stats I suggested. This bird would be around 30 points lower than Kartana.
Low in both defenses, High in Physical Attack and Speed, Mid in Special Attack and HP. Similar, possibly. As strong, not exactly.
The strategy in mind is go fast, hit hard, and kill them before they kill you. Because this Kabob breaks easily to a good attack.

Our skilled set of trainers are feeding and training them to get them fat and buff still but this is still a huge milestone imo!
