I can say with confidence I did not cheat on that save. I got to that weight by aggressively filling up using the plants in the cave, and sleeping whenever fullness was at capacity. Some people have said that sleeping doesn’t increase weight, but that hasn’t been my experience. Weight does increase for me from sleeping with a lot of fullness. I was able to gain about 1-3kg per 4 minutes using that method, gaining more each cycle as capacity increased. It also goes much faster by holding down Z/Enter during the plant stuffing, since that speeds up the game.
I think the 130kg weight thing is some kind of bug with the weight calculation, maybe from sleeping between ticks of the counter? If you eat something from the inventory, once the digestion timer activates and the fullness decreases it resets back to 74kg body weight, 75kg empty where it should be.
I’ve noticed that too, past a certain point on fullness sleeping will make you gain weight at a faster rate than normal…but it sure does not do that in the early game
Yeah I’ve noticed that at particularly high levels of fullness, sleeping -will- actually put weight on you as it digests. Not sure what the break point is or what causes it.
Ok, thank you for report. I guess you may be right about counter bug when sleeping, I will fix that.
Also, for everyone who comment about weight gain from sleeping:
Currently I made it so if your Fullness less then 30 then you don’t gain any weight from sleeping. If Fullness = 30 or more then you gain 1Kg for 30 points of Fullness. Later I was planning to rework sleeping, but I still have no idea how better do it.
Maybe you could do sleeping so at 30 you gain 1kg, 40 is 2kg etc. I think there should be a cap though, maybe 3 kg for anything above 80 fullness for example.
I can’t see any good reason to let people use sleeping to gain weight faster. I let it be for now just because there is no content yet with events which let player gain weight faster.
If I upload game to another place you will write to me again that the speed is low. If you know place where download speed for sure is high and I can use it then tell me.
Download worked fine for me, but putting your game on itchio could get you a few extra clicks probably and their download speed has never been a problem for me either
itchio block my IP address and don’t let me upload files from it, because I am russian.
Edit: I can use VPN to upload files there, but it takes 4 time longer then on Mediafire. So, I guess I will use itchio too as alternate method of download, but updates there may be slower since first I will upload them on mediafire.
“inversion quest”? You should have got a message which tells that this is the end of this alpha version game content. So, if you have quest where Ruyri need to return to home then there is no more content in the game for now.
Glad to see that the game is progressing. Biggest head twist I had was when I played a previous version and I got the bug where the game started right outside the cave. No tend, no armor and everything was brutaly hard.
But you fixed it like 1 hour after I downloaded the game.
Can’t wait to see where this game goes, how many stages of fat there is, the story and the like.
Because, person who helped me with changing text messages didn’t know that I use some word wipe plugin and I was need to manually fix this “no space” text bugs. Forgot to check text in prologue. Going to fix it.
