I will also say it is a form of humiliation. The rebels who fight against human overindulgence are shown on TV now “willingly” indulging in a human-like fat life.
Also works as a good form of anti-martyr, why kill a rebel hero when you can have them change sides and praise everything they once claimed to fight against.
A question that I can ask whenever I finish the part that asks me to save the game, I get a black screen and I can’t move forward, what can I do or until the version of the game arrives?

That’s it for now I’m afraid! But there will be more coming during the end of 2024. Currently we are working on our other major wg game, Apostles, but once that wraps up it’ll be back to Atlas to create a much more open update!
@KEVIN_NGUYEN A Fair request. I’ll do my best to keep an up to date changelog as the game progresses. At the moment, the game only has the initial release available.
Hello all! Project Atlas is back under development! Here is its first monthly update!
Progress Report for August 2024!
July it was an owie in my tooth. August it was an owie on my foot. More specifically 2 weeks ago I slipped coming down the stairs and fractured a foot bone! Luckily my recent apartment move put me closer to family and I didn’t need to drive myself to urgent care. Also luckily it was as minor of a fracture as a fracture could be, little pain and no need for any kind of surgery. I just will be in this boot for another 2-6 weeks. Silver lining, at least my writing hands have yet to get hurt!
But onto the game news! It’s Atlas season! And for better or for worse this is going to be a LOOONG season. I mean it as no exaggeration to say this will be one of the longest, and most complex updates CJ and I have ever worked on. But I think it will be worth it in the end, as while the first Atlas update was fine, this update is really when the game will become something special.
But art takes time, and art takes extra time when it’s me lurching between passion and procrastination! Everyone in the community has always been quite patient with my slow workflow and I’m always grateful for that. You guys are really the best. I know this Atlas update will test that patience but I hope it will be worth it!
And we won’t stay silent as we work, we will be putting out teasers and trailers at least once a month! Small stuff here and even more on Patreon. We also might release the update in parts so there’s something to play sooner.
For example, Patreons saw the base of this image months ago! (Made by an anonymous commissioner) But the caption and some shading was done by CJ!
good your taking care of yourself and making sure nothing is going too bad. Besides if anyone has been keeping track of gaming news as of late i think we all agree we much rather wait than get a buggy nightmare or a outcome that was not as big as we hype it up to be take your time and im sure everyone here will love the end result i know i will <:3.
This month of September was quite the special month! After years of being friends online, I was able to meet CJ and Nerds off screen and in the flesh. CJ as many should know is the art guy and 50% of Apostles, and Nerds is a fellow WG dev from the world famous game Some Bullshit. It was only for a period of less than 24 hours, but meeting both of them in the flesh was a wonderful experience. Now all that’s left is meeting everyone here in person too!
They are friends I never would have made if I hadn’t started to make Apostles, and another reason to make game deving all the more worth it!
Speaking of game deving, work is progressing slowly but steadily on Atlas. As I mentioned…it’s a lot! And a bit hard not to get overwhelmed at times, but bit by bit we are building the city.
One of the many reasons I wanted to make project Atlas was to make use of the skills I’ve gained from making Apostles, but didn’t have at the start of Apostles. For example while Auburnwoods is nice, it is just a square map with square houses using default assets. Project Atlas should hopefully be a lot more visually interesting to explore!
Here are some images of the home base for the Atlas crew. (These images and more were available on Patreon earlier!)
Happy New Year! I bring the gift of some cool art by CJ, and a preview of the full map, now made public from patreon! Hope you all are having a wonderful start to the year!
Helllllllloooo Atlas people! It’s been far too long! Thank you all for your patience and support. CJ are happy to say we finally have something substantial to share!
We’re rolling out the first phase of update 2, which got so big we decided to split it up into parts. Phase 1 has a city to explore, plenty of conversations to be had between the characters, AND a fully finished side quest that will test your combat abilities.
Phase 1 Release Dates
Executive Patrons, April 4th
Groomed Patrons, April 9th
Worker Patrons, April 14th
Free for public, April 24th
Phase two, which will include the long coveted permanent weight gain for the Atlas girls, is scheduled for May. After that, Apostles work will start again and we’ll have 0.12 done before the year’s end. So stay tuned for something new soon!
Hello! After so long I won’t waste time with an overly long description!
I would NOT suggest using any old saves, if you have them. Sorry, too many changes under the hood. However, there’s a pair of saves already loaded up in game, right before the new content. One save has the characters rob the safe in Cowson’s, the other did not. (Check the total number of chips for which is which)
This update has a city to explore, gear to buy, characters to talk to, and one fully finished side quest! To do this quest, leave the base once, then go back inside to talk to Pythia. All other steps can be checked on the notice board in her room.
It will also probably have more than a few bugs. Sorry about that, please save often, and if you have the time, report them to me.
That’s all I think, once more I thank you all immensely for your support and patience through the months. You are all the best.
Some time next month CJ and I will update Project Atlas again with 3 side quests that are more story focused, and will let you put on some permanent weight for the girls! After that it’s back to Apostles!
