Question - do the Mysterious Apples do anything besides fullness?

I believe they make you gain more weight compared to a regular apple.

It says in the description that for now ā€œthis version restores 50 hunger just like a regular appleā€. I think they will change it for a future update but i dont think they have said to what it might do yet.

Hmm… What race did you choose and what was your weight at that time? Also, please let me know the status of atk and satk at that time.

I agree. In fact, we are currently considering other methods rather than atk and satk values. What I’m thinking about the most right now is having the weight cap intertwined with the progression of the story.

This…umm…I forgot about the combat inventory fix! This should also be fixed in the next version.

In the Mystery Dungeon series, which is not Pokemon, there are unidentified items, and you don’t know which item in that category it is until you use it or identify it.

This Mysterious Apples is an item similar to that. In the future, I plan to add a lot of apples that do more than just restore hunger, and Mysterious Apple’s effects will occur randomly from those. Or identify the apple, it will change to one of those apples, and you will be able to see the effect before using it.

Well, it was difficult to write that program, so I put those things on the back burner, and now it has exactly the same effect as a normal apple.

I am playing Charmander. Im posting the screenshots i took to help you see.

My stats when i was about to hit 0 speed.

The message i got when i rested at the training ground or house and reached below 0 speed

After that you lose all the fat weight. The only way i could keep avoiding this fate is spending more in leveling speed or attack to get more muscle weight, leveling up also helps a bit. Mostly been my fun to push as far as i could but i think i got the highest description of weight for now.

Other things, you got a typo in Exploring.
Loved the event description in the first area with the statues, cant wait to see it finished.
And lastly, i would suggest adding a button with x5 or x10 uses of an item for the future for ease of use at bigger sizes.

A fairly large update (still unfinished).

In fact, we planned to increase the content, but we will publish it for test play because the form of the new battle system is almost completed.

Also, a little Bugfix and temporary deletion of too fat penalty.

Not sure if this is already added since the last version, but it might be a fun idea to have an alternate cutscene when your speed goes below 0 during the cubone girl event.

That sounds aces! Why, that sounds like an absolutely genius idea!

It’s not in the current version. But it looks interesting!

I thought I’d show you this, but the timing is perfect! If you’d like, would you like to write some~?

Say no more, good sir. I’m already on it, haha! I’ll have it finished in no-time.

how does one find this cubone, i’ve found invitations but no bone.

Sounds like you got unlucky as hell. It’s an uncommon event where you’ll get the option to turn in an invitation.

Try looking around the plains

Mystery house is now a random event that occurs with a low probability when exploring.
However, I’m thinking of making it so that a random floor of the dungeon becomes a Mystery house.

Hey, it’s good to see this game get another update. I was a bit worried when you said you would be stepping back from it for a while; I hope you’re doing better now.

The battle system seems like it’s starting to come together now. The damage calculation could still use some tweaking, but I’m sure you already have plans for that. I also appreciate the option to defeat enemies by feeding them, hehe.

I didn’t have much trouble finding the Cubone scene, but I almost completely missed the mystery room event in the first dungeon, probably because that dungeon is so short. I’m glad that there are at least a couple events/characters that respond to your weight; I look forward to seeing more in the future.

Speaking of which, I don’t know how much you were planning to have fatness affect battles, but I had a kind of silly idea for it. I know that in previous versions, excess fat would reduce your agility, which makes sense. But if there’s still a chance of dodging attacks, then at a certain point, you have to wonder how an enemy could possibly miss such a big target! However, if your body is covered in fat, then the enemy might have to be more careful about where they aim, so their attacks don’t hit a part that’s protected by too much fat. So maybe if you’re above a certain level of fatness, instead of saying the enemy missed, you could alter the message to say that the enemy’s attack bounced off of your thick layer of fat. It wouldn’t really affect the gameplay, but it could make the player feel their size a bit more.

Can anyone help me with something, I am struggling to figure out how to get the game to run, whenever I open up the google file it just shows up as a doc, is there something more I need to do with this or is my browser just being dumb?

The damage calculation formula will be revised. I haven’t given it much thought since I’m reusing something from the early stages of development. By the way, you can also defeat enemies by fattening them. (In the current version, there is no way to fatten, so it is impossible for now.)

This is a pretty interesting idea! I think this will be included in the next update. By the way, as long as you have the energy, you can specify a failed message for each enemy technique. (But honestly, it’s a bit troublesome and I can’t think of that much…)

The solutions that I can think are "try changing your browser’’ or "check to see if JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings.ā€˜ā€™ Does the same thing happen with other twine games?

I’m glad you like the idea! I PMed you some failure messages I wrote. A unique message for every attack might be too much, but I managed to come up with some that could be used for different attacks of a certain variety (wind, throwing, tackling, etc.). I hope it’s enough for a start. And of course, if there are other types of attacks you would like to have such messages for, just let me know, and I’ll see if I can think of something for them.

If you have any ideas for fat related shenes & changes, feel free to let me know. I like small changes like that, and would like to add more in the future.
But it’s quite difficult for me to do it alone. It’s one thing that I’m not used to English, but I’m having trouble coming up with many ideas on my own, and I’m currently busy building a system, so I don’t have much focus on it.

I’m thinking of accepting ideas on Google Docs…
