I don’t know if this bug was reported already, but I got soft locked by this slime when I denied going into the first boss battle in order to better ready myself (just in case).
Can’t open the menu, can’t move, nothing.

That’ll be fixed in the next update. I ended up just removing the Slime since I didn’t want to deal with it anymore

Currently have a bug during the quest where you have to answer a quiz correctly. If you stand on the side of the fairy it softlocks you moving upward into a wall. Also have a question. What does the red circle icon beside the character stand for?

that bug is because the character is supposed to move up 2 spaces, but does not correct for if you are on either side lmao, and you mean in the status menu? that circle represents the weight of the character

Yep, that’s a bug that has been reported and is already fixed for the next update. And that’s the weight icon. The more red it gets the fatter you are, and not having it means you’re at the thinnest size.

ah ok. It wasnt showing up for two characters when I was at max weight so I was curious

I think that is an overflow, where the game added plus 1 state at max and it looped back to 0 lol

Can someone please expane the fishing minigame too me.
I try evrything but i just cought tow fish and i dont even know how.
I cant even leave the game and i haven safe in a while and i dont want to do that all again

@mampfo.1 you’re playing on an older patch where that shouldn’t be accessible. All you can do is play from a new patch, the newest one has that fixed.

I already finished the game after almost 11 hours (more less 3 or 4 of them were exp grinding) and I must say one thing, enemies need a lot of work as many are far too powerful depending on when you approach them thus making necessary to grind experience like crazy (I managed to beat that freaking strong golem at level 18 - 19 but it was almost a miracle). A reccomendation I think is that maybe make some messages or something to tell you the reccomended level for that fight or zone.

Can anyone please help me with the password in the cave because i spent 1 hour of my life and i still cant figure it out.

Sorry the next update is taking awhile! I had to finish up some personal things and put the game aside for a bit, and fixing all the bugs found is taking some time- but progress is being made! I added a plugin so the characters faces will now change depending on the parties current weight. So if a party member gains weight, their text dialogue will now reflect their fatter face. I had to go back in hand and change nearly every damn faceset for the main party because of this, but I really think it’s worth it.

But in the meantime…

Heres a preview of the area where you can view all bonus content! It’ll be updated with more content as the game progresses and will act as a central hub where the player can hang out and see bad endings, see descriptions of characters, and unlock the ability to gather a type new collectable item. I’ll keep it secret for now, but it’s a fetish game with weight gain so I’ll let you ponder what that item can be.

The update will be out sometime in august, and it’ll focus on a ton of quality of life enhancements, little features such as the fat faces I mentioned, fast traveling, then battle balancing and bug fixes galore. Thank you all for your paitence and positive feedback! The feedback really helps keep me going as a dev

Also wanted to include a small preview of the dynamic dialogue faces. It’s a really small change, but it makes the weight gain feel like it has MUCH more of an impact. Additionally, I added a new chubby size of fat face sprites for the party as they gain weight that’ll happen between the slim and obese stages. It’ll be seen in battles, menus, and as stated, dialogue.

Impressive work on this. The final face definitely looks very…Peter Griffin-ish and obviously unpolished (big line cutting through the mouth and chin), but I highly appreciate this change. Little touches like that really do help sell weight gain~.

I am waiting for the full Seafoam Update on this before I get back and in and share my thoughts, but I am quite impressed by the changes I am hearing. Good luck, Round!

This is not the first time I’ve heard that and I’ll try to make it look less Peter Griffin-ish, thanks for pointing that out to me lmao

To offer a bit of feedback, I found that game’s overall difficulty spiked sharply upon leaving the forest area. One moment, I’m stomping every enemy like it’s Dynasty Warriors, and the next, every random encounter is a life-or-death struggle. Every player will likely spend a different amount of time grinding battles, so it might be worth toning the challenge down a bit for players who grind less.

On another note, while I’m personally a sucker for systems where gathered ingredients are used in cooking/crafting recipes, it tends to be a chore to make ingredient runs to past areas. I’m the type who will even make mental or physical lists of exactly how many items I need before gathering them. There’s also the potential issue of discarding or selling items, only to find out later that they were necessary for a recipe, warranting yet more errands. However, this can also create the opposite problem in which the player hoards items and materials just in case they’re needed later. Granted, I’m sure the fast travel mechanic will make material runs more tolerable. That said, the issue can be mitigated further with either alternative item sources (i.e. shops that sell them) or later recipes using ingredients that drop in the immediate area.

I plan on adding shops in every future town that sells various ingredients, I also increased drop rates so I think getting and finding specific ingredients will be much easier in the future. I just implemented the crafting system, and I plan to expand upon it a lot.

About battles, I’ve seen a good bit of players struggle so I was sure to nerf a lot of the enemies- and there was also a bug where weight wasn’t affecting stats in battle- so more overweight players (in the next update) will have a good bit more bulk against enemies who have also been nerfed a lot.

I appreciate the feedback! The crafting system could definitely use a bit of work and I’m excited to explore it more
