Imagine if Heidi joined as a new character to the party. Not as a 4th party member because I assume Esse will be that, just a guess though but just tags along and slowly becomes more affectionate to food like Clara. Would love to see that!
I’ve taken a break from playying this game, but I’m slowly getting caught up.
I’m at the island, doing the sidequest things after the fact, and I gotta say, Drunk Clara is a treat, so clingy and touchy

Yep! Once you’re done with the main quest and are free to travel, head back to Azh Rabot with Pro in tow. You may learn some new things!

well mostly my fault… someone show me how to hack it… i did it wrong and start over… but I don’t mind start over. i pan do splits where emmi do waht voice want and other she won’t. I know won’t make different, but i do it for boredom.
Ah yeah, changing up the save files or the events of the game definitely might break them. I’d say make copies before you start changing anything just in case!

This is probably a bit of a weird question, but I gotta ask it to settle my inner Video Gamer
Is it possible to win the first Esse Ter Vigilia fight? I got Clara to live past the first few rounds in my second playthrough of the boss and that made me think it could be, so I figured the best thing I could do was just ask.
I think it’s SUPPOSED to be one of those scripted “you have to lose” fights, often made obvious when the enemy hits you party with an attack that they have no way of surviving(like doing 9999 damage).
Classic, but cliché. I mean, I suppose it shows just how much stronger said enemy is to you at that point, so that when you fight them again at a later point and you kick their ass, it shows how strong you’ve grown(and the only other way to show the difference in power is for them to curbstomp someone ELSE), so I suppose it’s a necessary cliché.
Honestly I can’t remember the first boss fight scene - if only because I was transfixed by everything else! Seriously, the whole island section was my favourite: you had the drama ratcheting up; the deepening character development between Pro and Clara having to put aside their differences to stop ETV; a fun spooky mystery to unravel, and all of that whilst still retaining its charm and humour?
… *cough* sorry, yeah can’t remember the first boss fight 
. Kinda wish there was a Let’s Play series of the game now… I’m a dumbass, there’s SquirrelgirlDGT’s playthrough to watch!
Rewatching the fight here and yeah I forgot how crippling it is to to have Pro effectively paralyzed for the fight. Even so, I wonder how the fight scripting would have continued- just in case some mad enough lad decided to grind the party to obscene levels by fighting stabby bois in the woods endlessly.

I suppose if you cheated yourself more health and defense you could win. But all that happens is you get a text box from me saying, “You cheated!” and then I game over you lol. But yeah, you can’t win normally. Or at least, I hope you can’t!
