Sup! I’ve just now realized this release has flown under the radar on this forum, uh? Kind of a bummer. I guess it was weird the first chapter got the attention it had in the first place, I certainly hadn’t expected that - it’s a fairly niche setting and premise.

I’m still going to inform you few that a guide, for both chapters, has been written! It’s already on my patreon, though will be available for anyone who bought it on Itchio in a couple of days, too (I’m currently on a small trip, and don’t have the login info for the account on my phone. Came across a potential bug, when you are having tea with Mary and you try going into Eleanor’s mind the “gluttony” option is not able to be chosen, yet the other two are.
Not to keep adding to this but I just got an unexpected error message trying to start Eleanor’s Friday workday and it continues to happen. If it helps at all I was going the route of having Eleanor and Mary be attracted to one another and I got the Ball invitation so for the third event of Friday I set it to going to the Ball with Mary.

As for the bugs, the first one is actually intended, though I’ve now made it a little clearer. As for the second… I think I’ve found the issue? Potentially? It might’ve been setting you on a non-existent event on the Morning Duties.
I’ve updated the version on Itch io first - let me know if that fixed it, or if you’re a patron and need me to add the update there too (wouldn’t want to unnecessarily spam people as I get this figured out).
I am a patron so an update there would be appreciated. If I try to load a past save from before you added the fixes would the error still occur? I’m assuming it would.
If the save is from before the start of Friday, you should be good. If it’s inside the office, then you might be able to still be good to go if you select another event for the morning instead of the default one for the day.
I initially tried starting with a save in the office on Friday and still got an error message. I switched to an older Thursday save and when getting through the tea date and rest of the day to Friday morning I saw going to the Ball was the default option for the third event, but I still ran into an error message trying to begin the work day. I can try a brand new play through but figured I would let you know.
I see… well, I’m genuinely at a loss here. I don’t really know what might be causing this, the logic seems to be working as intended, and I can’t replicate it myself. Say, could you send me your save file? I might be able to gather more information from it.

I did a new play through and the Friday workday worked this time, was able to select the Ball option and proceed with no problem. I can still send the files but everything seemed to work right on the fresh play through.
Hey there! Yeah, so… I probably should give you an update on the project: worry not, it’s still going.
Though I did take a break, I’ve actually been working for the third chapter of Spirit of Hunger for only the last month or so, give or take. There are reasons for this: 1. I wanted to write some shorter WG stories for the patreon, something I’m really pleased about, 2. I’ve moved apartments, 3. I moved to another city (second time this year, btw, that’s fun), 4. got very busy with work and 5. got exceedingly depressed!
That’s not uncommon for me, I’ve been struggling with the latter my whole life. This season ye ol’darkness just hit me harder than expected. I’m feeling somewhat better now, and hopefully will feel even better out of the cold months, you shouldn’t worry.
I’m just here to tell the few of you on this forum that are still interested that a demo is finally available for the third and final chapter of Spirit of Hunger! As of now it’s on the patreon, but I do plan on making it freely available as soon as the whole chapter is completed. You’ll just have to wait a bit - it’ll take some time.
