Starbound Mod: Starpounds Big Fatties

I can’t find the Priestess of Velhanu. Is the NPC in the game?

In the current patch they don’t exist due to a file name issue. You can spawn them in, but they will be invisible. That said it was fixed almost a year ago, you just wont really see it until the next release.

What’s the name for the NPC so I can spawn them in?

I also lost 2 shops in the basic crafting menu that I used to have. Not sure if they were from a previous mod pack, but I would like the names of those as well

Been a while since I’ve touched the files since I’m waiting for the next release where it’s a big one… So can’t say with 100% certainty, but it was either mezli or tunocau or something along those lines. The filename isn’t that hard to fix on your own if you want to crack open the mod and edit it yourself. It was one of those that was imagepath “Starpoundsmezli” → imagepath “mezli” kind of deals. (again it has been fixed though, so you will see them next update)

As to what they do, they do the same buff system as the avian priest at the outpost does. Your light, extra melee dmg, low gravity, etc. At least thats what it was at the time.

As for two lost shops in basic crafting menu. I honestly have no idea. If it no longer exists it was probably baked into the fattiesbar cell if it was related to starpounds. That would be my guess at least, as at least to my interpretation as it seemed they were using crafting menu as a placeholder so to say.

One of the shops was a fat Lucario, and I had it with the most recent mod pack.

Also, what’s the fattiesbar cell?

It’s the place you teleport to from your ship teleporter. The central hub of the mod. Some modders refer to it as a zone, I refer to it as a cell because I’ve done far too much work with fallout.

There was also a synth food truck and a fat Avali that sold guns and objects that could cause weight gain, but I can’t find those either

It might have been from something I installed before I found out about Starpounds. Unfortunately, I deleted everything in the “common” folder for steamapps when trying to free up storage space, so I may never find it again. Hoping someone else has them.

Those were addons for the old version of the mod.

They were still useable for the recent build, so maybe it could come back

I would like to have some help here, If you like.

How do I Exactly put StarPounds in Starbound without the Game, which is Starbound itself, crashing?

Add it to your mods folder under starbound.

If it crashes, then it’s likely conflicting with another mod.

How do you feed npcs?

Big Food is usually the most common method. Or enemies with caloric weapons.

There are also furniture statue items. The Prey Tool. And if you’re willing to modify them, the squirt guns. For Squirt guns they’re a very easy fix. When they adjusted liquids a while back, it resulted in squirt guns just not having a long enough duration setting. So just change the duration of them and they now work

I wish there was like a randomizer so more NPCS would just start out at different weights or something, Then again, not all of the clothes are adapted still and it seems like there hasn’t been very much progress on that, so

how do I get npcs to eat the big food?

I also don’t like that NPCS at station locations are protected from it and basically untouchable

Just put it within their reach. Where it’s a furniture item, NPCs will interact with it at random.
