Yes, if you check the Journal, the game is split into Chapters. And I do have a Patreon, yes!
You will need to head into Tyro’s office, then speak to the Matron. Once you do that, Arena battles will open back up, and the woman in the middle will show you Challenge battles.

You can go wild using gold to buy HP, EP, and FP potions, and press a button to speed up both your own and the enemy’s attacks; this lets you analyze the situation to decide on the right equipment, unleash powerful attacks, and use a spell that reveals the opponents’ health levels.
How far behind is the current free demo in comparison to the one in Patreon?
The demo is currently three sections behind the current Patreon release - and the gap will only get bigger with time.
My friend was bummed out by the news, but this version still has what he wanted anyway. I don’t really care if it’s early or not—the fact that the demo is playable is good enough.
Are there any noticeable changes to this update over the demo, mostly involving fat content? Or just the island for now?
This update continues the storyline of the game so far.
And, depending on what side quests have been completed, other NPCs can be fattened, as well.

There is a new sidequest on the overworld - a small island - where you can get them fat.
The reward is to have them get fat again - and even fatter.
It’s on that island I mentioned earlier. Most importantly, get all the girls first—that will help you with that demon. I was missing two of them and still managed to do it, but it was a struggle.
Hmm, that’s strange. If you’re using the mouse to scroll up and down, try using the keyboard arrow keys—press them twice; maybe that will let you move.
