Do saves from version 2 work to let us load our progress or do we have to replay from start to see new content?

I’m honestly not sure, but I would assume so! I made this with renpy and I think renpy games can be updated and your save will be saved. Google seems to agree with me when I looked it up, but I am still not 100% sure.
