Update 1.4
Hi everyone, I’m back with a new update! Sorry for the long gap between updates and for being so inactive (has it really been a year since the last update?). I took a bit of a break from development which went on longer than originally planned. Anyway, I think this is the biggest update yet in terms of content, so hopefully that makes up for it somewhat!
Changelog
- A whole new section of the tower:
- 5 additional floors with new weapons and enemy types.
- A new boss with a unique gameplay mechanic.
- New encounters:
- Meet a fairy who can join you on your quest and you can feed for a magical buff (11 weight stages).
- Navigate a dark room using senses other than sight to avoid traps.
- Stumble upon a demonic business meeting.
- 2 new adventurers you can meet during your ascent.
- The Saccharine Sorceress boss has been slightly revamped, and is now the second boss (swapped with the Gastromancer), with appropriate balance tweaks.
- More weight related flavor text throughout the game.
- New ending if you beat the game after reaching the maximum weight stage.
- Lots of the existing images in the game have been remastered using newer AI image generation techniques, improving the quality.
- A new header displaying important stats such as health that appears when playing with the sidebar stowed. Should improve the experience on narrower devices such as smartphones.
- A whole bunch of other small tweaks basically everywhere.
