It’s very unlikely there will be any more public updates before the game is finished.
When the final version is released, you’ll have to start a new game from the beginning. Partly because old save files will almost certainly not work, and partly because you’ll miss out on the new content that’s being added. I’m still working on deciding exactly what I’m going to add, but there will be at least one new character and additions to what’s already in the game so far.
Its things like this that I love about the game, usually it sucks to start over, but even when early parts of the story were amazing. You keep adding stuff to the early parts so its not disappointing to start over!
I do have one question, are you ever thinking about changing the backdrop for the call Alice screen? I know that the screen was made when we couldn’t go to her house, but we’ve been there and it might just be me, but the call screen seems to be a totally different house. Again, might just be me
If you don’t start over then at best you’ll miss out on a lot of stuff, and at worst the game will crash as old saves won’t take into account the new variables that I’ll be adding.
Good point on the call Alice screen! I did those before adding the option to go to her house, of course, and it simply never occured to me that the backdrop is wrong! Bit of a continuity error there I’ll look into changing them. Thanks for pointing it out!
Is there a way to keep alice happy all the time so that she doesn’t break up with you after janet visit? because every time i’ve done that she has broken up with me every time
I always assumed the background was just some third room, like a basement office or bedroom or something, that we simply didn’t see when visiting her place since we’re only shown the front door living room and kitchen when we go to visit.
I love that you keep adding stuff to the early game, especially when you released versions, made it so that you won’t go like “Ugh the start, again” I always found it fun when I came across new dialogue, or new scenes in the early game with an update. And I’m guessing you still are adding new stuff to the early game for the full release!
Yeah I kinda guessed that was the reason they don’t match. Even when there were scene’s in her house I didn’t notice. I only started to notice when you introduced the scenes that you could also eat at her place, so it took a long time for me to actually notice it!
Its really hard but it is possible. The Alice breaking up route is my head canon, not sure if its tiggers aswell, but for me it makes sense for Alice in her transformation. I just find it a realistic reaction and it gives Alice time to think about it all, and also realize what she’s actually missing. She eats when she’s happy and she’s happy with you! Even when you never encourage her to eat more at all, (but still be nice about her gain) she would gain weight anyway. So I thought it was a great move story telling wise that she breaks up with you for awhile. And I think it works the best in the story as a whole!
However, if you still want to experience the not breaking up scene like me. You’ll have to scroll through here to find a post from Krod where he shared his save file. That way you can view the scene and see what you have been missing!
If you want to do it the non hacking way, my recommendation is to try not to feed her too much at the beginning and just focus on being a good boyfriend for a week or two, you can actually forestall her weight gain quite a bit if you try hard enough.
Take her running to keep her weight down and reassure her when she starts to slow down. Take her to the movies regularly, let her choose the movie and tell her how pretty she is. Don’t take her out for food, shopping, or the pub. Try to ask her to come over to eat every night you can, since it’s free food and gives plenty of options for making her feel good. You also need the cooking practice. If she asks to watch a slushy movie, ask her how she feels about it and it will give you the option to be more romantic with her. If you ask her to come over on the weekend, she’ll suggest going out for a romantic dinner. Also with less time spent plowing Alice with food, you have more time to go to the gym and impress her with your hot bod.
Of course, you don’t actually miss any content if she breaks up with you and I, in fact, prefer the break up route, mostly because it makes sense in the story like JustChris mentioned but it also gives you a chance to build up your cash reserves so you can go really hard on fattening her up when she finally gives in to feederism.
Oh also! I forgot to mention this in the last reply,
I think there’s an error at Alice’s work? Once you can visit her at work she’ll be wearing a blouse, with black jeans. And you can take her out for food, or eat in her office. Sometimes Heather will join Alice and you for lunch. But when this happens, Alice will be in her next stage! And only in that scene, when the scene is over and visit her at work again (or do anything else) she’ll be reverted back to the right stage. I don’t think this is suposed to happen, but it does every playthrough. Not sure if the intent was that this event was only suposed to take place in that stage, or if you had not yet made any renders of Alice in her first work clothes having lunch with you and Heather.
You might already be aware of this, but I still had to mention it in case you were not
Great to hear about some new additions. The early game editions are always welcome they really help flesh out your world. I love the depth to both the characters and the world that gets expanded upon when you add in some characters and events earlier in. Of course this means more work long term for you so I figure it will be done more sparingly.
I have to say I might be one of the rare few but I love playing through from the beginning each time. So having to start over sounds fine to me .
@WolfyJRB_15 when Alice breaks up with you, do you get a game over screen? If not then keep playing and all will be resolved! The game over screen will only occur if she’s very very unhappy.
@echumxbiaoef I could probably get away with saying it’s a previously unseen room, but now that it’s been pointed out, it really jars, so I’ll get the backgrounds changed
@JustChris Quite a few of the things (visiting Alice’s house etc) that I’ve added up till now has been stuff that I’ve had ideas for from the start, but never had the time to add. Now I’m going at my own pace, I should be able to flesh the existing stuff out a little. I still haven’t decided exactly what yet, but I do have a few ideas.
There could well be an error with the visiting Alice at work scene. Most of the remaining bugs are towards the end of the existing content as that’s been tested far less. I’ll add that to the list of stuff I need to check.
@xpnsnpk That’s a heck of a long quote! I’ve already noted down the ideas that people have mentioned though. Some will work, some won’t, and I’m currrently mulling over how I can add the ones that I think will work before I start writing again.
@Krodmandoon yeah, it’s a LOT of work, but I enjoy it. Especially now that I can go at my own pace without having to try and hit impossible deadlines.
There is something I noticed that I’m not sure is a bug or not. At one point when you go to the fancy restaurant, Alice is wearing a red dress that ends up ripping because it’s too tight. After this incident occurs, she continues to wear the red dress on subsequent visits to the restaurant . After it rips, shouldn’t she get a new dress to wear to the restaurant?
I might just be guessing here, but I think thats a choice in design, since usually you can tell when Alice sized up because she will wear different outfits in every scene. Ofcourse you can obviously tell by her size, but I think by having her wear a different dress without sizing up, some people might think they have reached the next weight stage because of that scene.
I just figured its the same dress but a different size after that scene. It didn’t really bother me, and it would be a great detail if she would wear a different dress, but it would not bother me if its kept this way!
I did think about changing the outfit, but figured that as I usually only change Alice’s outfits after the next size increment, I’d leave it as is to avoid any confusion.
There is no official mobile version of the game. Tiggertoo’s original plan was to look into making an android version upon the game nearing completion.
There is an unoffical Android port, but I would strongly advise against getting it. Firstly, it was created by pirates, and I have no idea what malware etc. may have been added. Secondly, it was of the test version of the game and is very buggy.
As @Krodmandoon says, once the game is more or less finished, I’ll probably create an Android version if I can keep the filesize down to a reasonable level.
