Don’t know exactly what was said or by whom but it sounds like tiggertoo has reasons. For the record, I think he has made this game worth the small investment in its development.

Kind of a shame because I for one hugely appreciated the free releases, it’s like a beloved episodic drama series that repeatedly leaves you in suspense for the next episode. Shame the minority couldn’t learn a thing or two about the concept of patience.

Ah well I may pledge eventually, I’m not a big fan of Patreon however I do understand it’s a great tool to show appreciation for the time and effort creators put into their work and this certainly deserves it.

I don’t trust them I was hack once and it was not fun

I did get quite a lot of nasty messages (mostly not from people on here, I hasten to add) complaining about daring to charge a whole $5 for a fetish game. It really has put me off any more free versions, I’m afraid. That said, the comments have died off lately, so I may put another free version out at some point. We’ll see, but I do think the current demo shows more than enough of the game for people to decide whether they’re going to like it or not.

As for Patreon, personally I’m not a fan either. It’s frustrating, limited and takes a big slice of each $5 for the privilege of being so :stuck_out_tongue: But, it’s also fairly simple to use and automates pretty much everything for me so that I can devote more time to working on the game.

Have you considered making it so the posts you make about what will be in future releases free for the public to see. Whenever I re-subscribe, I always wish I knew what was being added in before purchasing the newest release.

That’s not a bad idea! Although what I’ve been adding per update up to this point has been pretty straightforward. One visible size increase for Alice, and assorted gains for the other female characters.

I’m in two minds about the next version. Either more of the above, or revisiting the earlier stuff to refine and add to it.

Okay so I tried posting in the bug thread, and it’s hecking hard… I can’t seem to edit my comments at all…

So, there was a “bug” in 0.4. Where once alice reached her final form, if you went to the cafe with her… and asked her if she wanted any more… you’d just not get an answer from her, and then leave. This was because you were at the end of the content. I loaded a 0.4 save that was a day or two before the final sister scene into 0.5. I went to the cafe, and this “bug” still occured.

If alice said something like “comment does not exist” I wouldn’t call this a bug, but to ask a question and get no response whatsoever feels like a bug. I then went back a few months to an older save from before alice was in her final form and took her to the cafe in 0.5 and the bug didn’t occur. So I am wondering if not only should people import their save in 0.4 to 0.5 before the final scene, but also possibly before the final “form” slash “weight” slash “outfit” which occurs around 200? 210? or so?

I’ll keep editing this post with bug reports, because I can actually edit on this forum, and if it’s all one giant post I guess it’s easier for people to hide it if they don’t want to see it?

bug report number 2

For this bug I loaded a save from a couple days before the final sister scene in 0.4 into 0.5 I played through the final sister scene, then the next day after breakfast in bed I wound up seeing alice as the gym, and I told her she was piling on the weigh too fast:

bug report 3

This bug is extremely minor, after feeding alice chocolate cookies in this movie theatre scene the main character says that “that first bar didn’t last you long” but since he was feeding her cookies not chocolate bars that makes no sense at all.

Sorry if these “bugs” are too minor for you to want them reported, if you tell me to stop, I will.

"

edit: in regards to bug report number 1 in this post… the bug is “gone” as in… I just kept playing… and once alice changed outfits again in 0.5 the bug went away and the conversations in the cafe work just fine now. So it looks like maybe the bug is tied into the outfit?

edit again: hmm, actually that first bug where alice doesn’t reply to you asking her if she wants more in the cafe is back… when we go there from the park, because the park outfit is maybe the same as the outfit that starts the bug in 0.4? https://we.tl/t-MGIEwJjwIO

I’m probably going to take a couple of weeks off after I get the fix of the latest version updated. I literally have spent almost every free minute I have over the past 11 months on this and my batteries need recharging (and my poor PC needs a break from 24 hour a day rendering :stuck_out_tongue: )

Thanks. I’ve downloaded both your saves and I’ll look at them when I’m going through the bugs this weekend.

To re-iterate, all of my save files that I’ve posted today are made by starting in 0.5 with a save file that was about 1-2 days before the final sister scene in 0.4.

Since you replied, I am going to assume you won’t go back and look for edits. So I’ll start another post.

This is almost too minor to call a bug as well, but “I’m a real lightweight! Four beers and I’m tipsy.” Despite having actually had 6 beers a few sentences ago. (back should work to confirm this?)

If you discover any of my bugs are caused by importing my save from 0.4, I can start over a fresh save. But since a lot of people are importing saves, I figure you’re interested in errors caused in imported saves.

edit: oh and btw, the ren’py error message I got for saying alice should slow down at the gym? I let another week go by, and then suggested she slow down again, and the error didn’t appear, I believe she’d changed outfits during this time… so… I think in 0.5 once alice changes all her outfits slash modes all the bugs that are due to 0.4 imports start to go away? This is just a guess though I don’t know anything about ren’py code or error messages.

edit: nevermind the ren’py error message is back!!! same cause… looks like it depends on which exercise alice was doing and if she went to the gym and i followed, or if i just randomly saw her there…

and on the note of the cafe error with the missing message, if we go to the cafe from the park, it occurs, if i invite her to the cafe from the menu it doesn’t occur… all of these errors might be due to importing from 0.4 though.

another bug, this one might actually be a bug bug…

not sure if this is because it’s not been made yet, and i’m at the end of this content, or if there’s some sort of bug and the image itself exists but there’s a typo or some such

How far can we go with Hannah on the v0.5 ?
Ps : nice work, i love how becca and Hannah ““evolve”” in all terms.

I think the final hannah scene is the one in the pink dress at the cafe. Although the main hannah scene is the running scene.

That said I could be wrong.

Sidenote: what causes becca to give you a pay raise at work? are pay raises at work tied strictly to alice’s weight gain? which I kinda guess they are? or are they based on how many times you stay late to help becca with extra work? or are they based on total hours worked? or some other factors? It’d be cool to see pay raises actually get linked to how good an employee you are, either in terms of attendence, total work, or how much bonus work you accept, or a combination?

it is based on you staying late to do extra work for becca
also i’m not sure how you keep getting so many error’s as i played my .4 file save as well but had no issues at all

Some of my “errors” are minor typos, or multiple reports of the same error occurring in slightly different circumstances…

Only one error was an actual ren’py error message. And one image was not found. That’s relatively minor.

did you still have .4 on your computer?
when i did it i kept .4 in the same folder as .5 don’t know if it was renpy just communicating with the older version for help when it was having an issue but i had only the .4 glitch where alice wouldn’t talk after asking if she wanted more and you’d just leave but once i got onto .5 i had no problems

I put them in separate folders, and I had the 1 ren’py error when asking alice to diet at random gym encounters (aka not ones prompted by phone). As well as the missing background image 5…

Now both of these errors occurred in entirely new scenes for version 5… but maybe I was supposed to install 0.5 over 0.4? even though that makes no sense to me?

edit: nope, that didn’t help. it didn’t seem logical that it would. @Randomkid00
