Thank you! I can’t exactly work on the game right now but I will start working on these issues and the barista issue as soon as possible. I think I know what exactly caused these issues.
I draw all the characters myself at a relatively higher resolution, then downscale and cover up any problems that come up after downscaling. But the backgrounds were made by a collaborator, who also told me that the talking animations are for art styles more similar to 8-bit styles and don’t really suit the aesthetic I went for since it is simply 1 frame of an open mouth without any variety. So I wonder, could this “oddness” be because of the talking animations of the current build?
I found the default text almost unreadable, the black text on grey background didn’t have enough contrast, I hit shift-A and went for high contrast override.
In theory this shouldn’t happen the dev should try to make the text easily readable moreso than super stylish, but, I reckon there’s a way to make it both stylish and readable if the dev plays with the opacity or shades?
I have updated it to address the issue. Oh, and a reminder. The update is not exactly save-compatible. Hopefully future updates will have compatibility.
Hello, I tested the game and it’s really very promising. I really liked it. However, maybe I did something wrong, but it seems that I’m stuck at Nova’s first stage. The game keeps looping the first scene where she takes us to the Nothing Burger and talks about her ex. The game doesn’t indicate that the content is finished like the others do, so I imagine the story doesn’t stop there but maybe I misunderstood. Aside from that, it’s great.
You’re right. That shouldn’t happen! There’s another hotfix on Itch now that addresses this issue.
Nova hopefully shouldn’t be problematic anymore. I’ve tested her dates and haven’t faced any new issues now that the old ones are fixed. Plus, there’s an end of current content message for her at the current progress limit. The dates should be replayable after reaching this current end though.
I tested the corrected version and it works. I was able to see the rest of the story and the other stages of Nova. I didn’t notice any other issues. Thank you very much. Oh, however, the link to join the Discord doesn’t work.
Good news! The game’s still in development. Haven’t been able to work much on it recently, but now things are changing for the better and hopefully development will get back to normal soon.
The first thing for the next update would probably be updating the art. Here’s another W.I.P pic. Can you see the difference in the style?
Here’s another look at how everyone looks. Some still need small changes and are incomplete, but that update is closer now. As for the sprites of the other characters, and the inclusion of the new character, they will be in another update after this one. After the current stuff gets up to the new standards.
I really dig the art style you’ve gone with for this game, tried the demo out and I think its a charming little weight gain/dating sim. Looking forward to seeing the game get more fleshed out as development goes along.
Remade sprites for 3 characters, as well as a graphics update for the phone, with even more improvements to come in the future!
There is also now a Mac version, however there might be issues as it is untested.

So I can across a graphical glitch thats kind of unsettling, when you bring Laura to her second stage of weight, the lip flaps and blinking eyes are mismatched, so it looks like shes talking through her cheek
