I played the new version! I gameovered once without the game breaking, which is nice. This also led me to a few stat-ups and one of Mudbit’s WG stages. I also ended up encountering the “I Don”t Know” enemy which I think is really cute and I may even like them better than the Painter? Sadly, like usual, I come bearing bug reports…
- Mudbit’s 2nd stage sprites don’t display right; in the main menu of their shop they only look larger when talking and revert to stage 1 when not. In the conversation menu, they’re always at stage 2, but the image becomes really small every other frame when they talk.
- The “more” tab is fine for their visuals, but I can’t upgrade speed. They also preface everything with “I’m out of stock” but then resume selling anyway.
- I got a candy bar from the “Try Your Lick” machine. The text was correct, but it showed a picture of a water bottle.
- I died in the sewers once perfectly fine, but on the second attempt, it revived me without a game-over, at 1 HP.
- I went past the Muscle Man shop and got the error “Failed to load img/characters/!%24SF_Gate3.png”. Checking the files, I found one named Gate4. Maybe you renamed or replaced the file and didn’t change the event to match?
This can all wait until after the Halloween event is finished development, though… The game’s still fun despite the bugs in my opinion. I am a little worried about the way I’m submitting these reports though - I haven’t seen anyone else make a bug report post in this thread, so should I be putting this all in the strawpage instead?

WG is only for Mudbit right now, but if I remember correctly, it’s planned for Nikki (the protagonist) as well

So, that first boss introduction suck and has no replayability, so Here’s a vote to fix that, the old boss is going to stay, she just going to be a bit rarer. The least liked one will not get into the game.

An artists art has come to kill you because of your mean comments, also will have variants that can be fat.

This knight has come back to kill all evil in this world, which includes you.
There is going to be so many cultists even if this does not win.
The intrusion has a lot of significance, and talks in text to speech.
Still working on stuff.

Flower buddy vending machine is an npc that you can talk to and has some joke wg.
Gachapon will give you one time summons from other games or in world media.
Gross chocolate monster.
This old one will give random fruit that can blow you up, not all of them.

The normal vending machine will have no tricks and what you see is what you get, press numbers to get the snack you want and put in money to buy it. Also I might have wg but that depends.
The gachapon vending machine is going to have mutable things you can buy, like candy, figers that will show up in the tv galley and can be used as one time summons.
