Try downloading the game again, I put a hotfix in to fix some typos in Maeve’s teaser about 10min after I uploaded the game, so if you downloaded right away it wouldn’t have been fixed. If this is still happening then I’ll give this a fix!
If you log in to Google it should bypass this!
Thanks as always for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed Taryn’s character and stories, and it’s funny you mention a future Sorority storyline…wink wink.
As for her renders, I haven’t necessarily upgraded my software/hardware, but over time I am generally getting better at using the programs. Also, the donations I’ve received on Patreon have helped me invest in content created for my tools to a degree so that I can try and make each new character feel more distinct. I’m glad the visuals are being well received!
Any thought of adding a mirror scene to allow the PC see herself?
Oh never knew signing in made a difference. It worked, thank you!
I have actually, but then I went down the conceptual rabbit hole of debating how much customization there should be.
Do I allow players to choose skin tone? Hair color? Eye color? How their bodies distribute weight if you gain during the story? It turned into a lot of thinking and the only other option is make a default male/female player, but that takes away from the roleplaying aspect of it in my opinion.
TL;DR, Yes I considered it but couldn’t decide the best way to implement it.
I would only have one PC default and stick with it. You can just describe it as having the attributes you might want to add later as customizations to a fix type. You can always add other types in which you fix their description choices you mention, but not let the user to fully customize. e.g.
Start with one attribute fixed set for example using your choice in prior message:
Pear, black hair, green eyes, tan
Then when you finish all weight stages for that one if you feel the need to add more fix their attributes like the first one.
apple, blonde, blue eyes, peach
That way you restrict customization from user to just a base type you have defined. Pick the base type you like, after all you created the game.
IMO there is no need for a PC sprite with a mirror scene.
For one, the mirror scene has relatively low replayability value unless you keep developing other personal characteristics (which adds a lot of lift). Once you view yourself in the mirror at different weight levels you have pretty much seen everything the first time unless something like slob level (or similar characteristics) get introduced.
For two, it requires a lot of work if OP does customization and if OP doesn’t do customization than it I would honestly prefer just imaging the PC how I want them to look.
Finally tried this game, glad I waited until there was a decent chunk of content. It’s very fun, well written, and the girls are cute as hell. I like the choices and branching paths. I haven’t gotten all of the stories and gallery pictures yet. I’m actually having some trouble figuring out how to get all of Donna’s gallery images, even though I think I’ve done everything with her. And I assume there’s a secret 4th girl that probably appears once you’ve completed the other paths?
Edit: Okay I I finally met the last girl, she was behind one of the few decisions I haven’t
made. I guess the issue was that I saved a lot of Natalie’s stuff for last.
It feels like the game is heading in “D.I.E.T.” direction, which is probably not good. However, it does have an advantage against “D.I.E.T.” by providing the character’s story status saving and gallery for progress tracking.
Suggestions will be:
- To move from pure visual novel and introduce some lifesim elements
- There is 1 variable now for weight, and its implementation is very basic. 5-6 variables with complex dynamics of their changes will be fun
- Visual novel event can be paused, some branches may be blocked if PC does not meet the stats requirement. While NPC in a dialog may or may not give player a hint of what is missing or force change some variables that may spoil progress with some other NPC, etc.
Hope to hear about new releases soon. Keep up the great work.
I tried D.I.E.T. a while back. I have lost track of the state of its development, but it was really not to my taste at the time. There are small ways I see a similarity here, but I like this game much better. The stories in A Broad Semester I liked least were similar to ones that turned me off to D.I.E.T., ones that were more intense, relying on things like severe humiliation or dom/sub stuff. (No judgement, just not my thing). This is also part of why I held off on doing most of Natalie’s path until I’d finished everything else, and coincidentally that turned out to be why I was missing some things for a bit like I said in my previous comment.
If I have one criticism right now, it’s that one character was hidden behind a specific decision on another character’s path. If that romance option happens to be the least likely one you’ll go for, and that decision is the less likely one you’ll make, then the dependent option doesn’t seem to appear. I can’t really confirm it works that way but it seems to be. I only knew that girl existed because she’s pictured in the title screen. But this is very minor, obviously I figured it out.
I did most of the girls in this game and after finishing Belle instantly subscribed to your patreon.
Really love how storyline specifically went out! In the ‘mundune’ route watching her plump up and being unable to revert was very good!
Love super powerful women getting a little bit of humiliation, especially when they’re specifically into giving it out to others.
This style of D.I.E.T. but with twists works so well! Super excited to see how this continues on.
Maybe you could have it be a POV, where the player looks down and themselves and sees their body? This could allow for the roleplay aspect to be maintained while still ahving the PC able to see themselves.
OP specifically states that D.I.E.T. was the main inspiration for the game in the first post. This isn’t supposed to be a life sim game, so you are probably going to be disappointed if you are hoping for a move in that direction. I think this game does a really good job of playing like D.I.E.T. while still giving a little bit more of a whole world experience, both with the player weight mechanic and the ability to see characters in other characters’ storylines at the weight they finished at (note: I would love to see more of this mechanic! I think right now it is just used for Donna in Natalie’s scenes?). But I have a hard time picturing this ever having 5-6 variables with complex dynamics - that just isn’t the point of the game, and frankly I would rather have the existing dynamics used a little more fully instead.
Two pieces here:
- Very few of the D.I.E.T. storylines have severe humiliation or dom/sub stuff. It does appear, but the majority of storylines are pretty vanilla/regular weight gain storylines. If that was what turned you off, it may be worth playing the latest demo and testing a few of the newer routes and see if it is more your taste.
- Part of OP’s goal with the gallery system was to help you know if you hadn’t found certain paths yet. OP also posts spoilers in each release on how to get onto a certain character’s path. If those aren’t sufficient though, I’m sure OP would love to hear suggestions for how to improve it!
v0.04.1 is up in the download folder! Nothing has changed as far as gameplay is concerned, but I did fix a few typos, stopped Taryn’s gallery notifications from repeatedly popping even after they’re unlocked, and added Taryn to the title screen.

Trying to play it with Joiplay emulator any chance I did something wrong it opens but show this
The first couple of romance paths I tried in D.I.E.T. just werent my thing. Maybe that was bad luck, but I don’t really feel like revisiting it. I think it’s just not a game for me.
I am more comfortable making suggestions about gameplay than writing. I am not sure if the trigger for Belle’s appearance is more one or the other. To the extent it is a matter of writing, Belle is Natalie’s ex and that makes it difficult to recommend any adjustment, it’s a creative choice and that’s not something I want to step on. It was just my luck that the character I was least interested in had the emergence of another locked behind one decision along her path. I imagine when there were only 2 other girls and not like 3.5 this didn’t confuse anyone. I also figured it out eventually, I was just enjoying myself enough to make a comment saying so before I stumbled on it. Because I did not read every comment in this thread before trying the game, I did not have a hint.
I am also missing some gallery images for at least two of the girls, despite having made every choice available to me (some more than once). I presume this is because I did not engage in any weight gain for the main character, or played as male and not female. If that is the case I am good with that, I’m not a completionist. Basic options for the main character, like choosing your gender and being able to gain weight yourself or not, are also things I appreciate about this game.
theres limit on google drive since yesterday
